Although I don't think this album is great all the way through, the good songs on it make it well worth while. Willie Banks is an amazing singer, as anyone who has heard him sing Too Late with The Jackson Southernaires can attest to. The song Mothers Still Alive stands out on this CD, but the greatest song is Our Thanks To God, which is indispensable. A rather subtle song with great changes and harmony, one of the best gospel songs of the 70's. Unfortunately the album Too Late by the Jackson Southernaires is out of print, but that song can be found on other records.
