Were there justice in the world, Lisa Michel would be a major jazz star...she certainly is a major talent. This CD includes savvy original songwriting by LM (especially the title track) plus tastefully selected covers, all expertly delivered with subtlety, nuance, and clever shadings by some classy musicians. If you are in the mood for intimate feelings and emotions in a world where little details reap big rewards, check out this CD!
