Troy Cory Sings Cult Pop of the 70s, Music, Troy Cory
About the Artist
Troy's grandfather, Nathan B. Stubblefield, is recognized as the inventor of the radio. His voice that broadcast the words, "Hello, Rainey" across the swampy Kentucky woods in 1892, were the first words transmitted, any where in the world, without wires. Today Stubblefield's former farm is the campus of Murray State University, where a marker commemorating the historic achievement was dedicated two years after his death in 1928. The radio station in Murray, Kentucky, carries his initials, WNBS.
The California Goodtime Band.
