Editorial Reviews In 1988, Troy was the first American recording/television artist to perform concerts in China, (20,000 per show)- and the first to be allowed to sell record and music videos. Over 300 million viewers watched his shows weekly Troy's grandfather, Nathan B. Stubblefield, is recognized as the inventor of the radio. His voice that broadcast the words, "Hello, Rainey" across the swampy Kentucky woods in 1892, were the first words transmitted, any where in the world, without wires. Today Stubblefield's former farm is the campus of Murray State University, where a marker commemorating the historic achievement was dedicated two years after his death in 1928. The radio station in Murray, Kentucky, carries his initials, WNBS. The songs on this album were originally recorded for the Troy Cory Evening Show and released by BBC RadioPlay Music. Now, these songs are available on the World-Wide web. Troy Cory in this CD -- takes us dreamily into a world of harmony, romance and peace as he sings his own interpretation of the philosophical songs of the disco and pop-country 1970 era. We have the full opportunity to sample Troy's tender pop country charm whether the music be slow, romantic, or snappy like a warm summer breeze or an upbeat hurricane.
