                  Album Description

                  The Glenn Miller band opened at the Paradise Restaurant & Cabaret in New York City on the 14 June 1938 from which they made just four half hour broadcasts during this engagement, all of which are contained on this two CD set. The vocals are handled by Gail Reese, previously with Bunny Berigan and Charlie Barnet, and Ray Eberle with help from Tex Beneke, Miller and the band. As expected from JAZZBAND's Miller reissues the sound is superb and the broadcasts are complete.
