"Let Me Be Good To You" remains one of Lou's best (yet sadly underrated) PIR albums-- with such gorgeous Quiet Storm-flavored ballads as "A Lover's Holiday", "Sweet Tender Nights" and the hit title track it should have been a bestseller. "Lou Rawls Live" was originally a double-LP package which features Lou singing both his then-current PIR hits as well as his 1960s Capitol hits.

I have always dug Lou Rawls."Let Me Be Good To You" is My Cut still.Lou&the Philly International Flavor truly fit like a glove back in the Mid to late 70's for me.glad to Hear Rev.James Cleveland&The Late Great Phyllis Hyman on Board on Stage with Lou who really knocks it out the park live.
