Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Great Earlier Arrangements of His Popular Songs.......2004-05-11

The first tracks are 20's solo instrumentals starting with some great organ jazz. Middle tracks are early arrangements of some of his popular songs, including the tile song - a handful of keys. Ain't Misbehaving is the only piano solo (instrumental only) arrangement I've heard, somewhat different from his ultra popular vocal version with his Rhythm. Smashing Thirds is my favorite solo piano instrumental.

If you're a fan be sure to get this one. If you want just one Fats CD I think the best one is still The Very Best of Fats Waller - RCAVICTOR.
