They Also Sang With Tommy Dorsey, Vol. 2

Editorial Reviews
Album Description
Although Sinatra was the most well known vocalist to have sung with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra there were many others just as important but overlooked and ignored. Like the first volume (EBCD 2167-2) here are a multitude of singers and styles to redress this imbalance from Stuart Foster, Connie Haines, Jack Leonard, Gordon Polk, Lucy Ann Polk, Jack Duffy, Johnny Amoroso to the vocal groups of Pied Pipers, Sentimentalists, Clark Sisters, and the British singer Denny Dennis once again makes an appearance, all backed by the Tommy Dorsey orchestra. Taken from 78’s of the period 1939 to 1950 - another interesting and exciting release from Jazzband.
