It's not that Disney's bright-smiling team of kid whisperers hasn't done this sort of thing before, it's that they do it so well this time. RemixMania is a room-rattling, Skechers-shaking affair wherein the once-mild and vaguely medicinal "Bare Necessities" undergoes a funk-fortified "jungle boogie" remix, the ever-creepy "Siamese Cat" song comes out with its claws bared courtesy of a "cat-scratch" remix, and a medley including snatches of "Under the Sea," "I Won't Say (I'm in Love)," and "Cruella De Vil" is subjected to the braid-bobbing turntable stylings of DJ Skribble. Credit the producers for so skillfully tarting up these long-loved classics, but don't forget to give it to the artists, too: Hilary Duff and sister Haylie appear, as do Ashanti, Jesse McCartney (the swoon-inducing "Second Star to the Right") and Skye Sweetnam. --Tammy La Gorce

A remix CD for people who don't like remixes!.......2006-01-25

I'm not really a big fan of remixes. I got this CD for Christmas. I expected the remixes to be really annoying. Boy was I wrong! The remixes are really fun to dance too, even thought I'm not really a good dancer. If you like remixes, love the Disneymania CD's, or even if you just love to dance, this CD is for you!

love this cd!
the best song to me is Colors of the wind by Ashanti and Shi Shi
all the remixes are great and if you like the Disney mania cds the get this or if you just like Remixes for the beats this is a good cd to have every song sounds cool and some even better then the original version!
If you love Lalaine get this cuz she really shines on this cd!

Have you ever heard songs that you don't like very much, and they end up getting re-recorded, and ya love em? Well, that's what disneremixmania is all about!!!!! Listen, this C.D. has Raven, Bowling for Soup, Baha men, Skye Sweetman and more!! I love how the mix makes it better, because I've heard bad mixes before. It's got talented singers. This album is definitely number one!!!
