We love the Imagination Movers! After seeing them on the disney channel, we decided to purchase the cd for our car rides. We all love them, even my husband and I sing the songs! My personal favorite is the song about going to bed.
Great Music!

Great children's music.......2007-01-18

If you are only going to buy one children's music CD, buy this one. My three year old listens to it all the time. It is fun for adults and children alike. It still sounds good even after the 1000th time of hearing it (and you will hear it a 1000 times). The music is very hip, but the lyrics are written from a toddlers point of view. I especially like "The wah wah song", "one more book" and "Shakeable Fruit". Its obviously written by guys with a sense of humor and young children. Pity I can't give it more than five stars - highly recommended.

Imagination Movers are great performers and singers. My kids, 2 1/2 and 20 mos, just love their music. Highly recommend it.

Can't rave enough about the Imagination Movers!!!!!!.......2004-09-12

Five stars are not enough to express how much we love the Imagagination Movers (known in our home as the "IM's"). My five-year-old son listens to their music over and over and over, knows all the lyrics, and has memorized which song is which number on the CD. Meanwhile, my 2-year-old daughter is rapidly catching up and sings and dances around the house, in the car, and anytime in between ("Mommy, 'Magination Movahs" she announce when we heard "I Want my Mommy" playing in a children's store recently). As others may have mentioned, the real magic in this CD is ultimately that the musical style of the Imagination Movers appeals to the Mommy and Daddy generation as well, and not only will you be willing to listen again and again with your enthusiastic youngster, but you may find yourself listening on your own one day! Finally, I must also add that my son has decided that instead of being a doctor like Daddy, his life goal now is to become an Imagination Mover. Buy this CD for yourself and many for gifts -- the music is contagious and bound to be a big hit!!!

Why are you reading this and not buying the album.......2006-04-24

Mixing skater punks and hip hop has always been dangerous, but now they figured out a sense of timing; this spells certain doom for the rest of us. Astronautalis is the kind of rapper who steals the good off of every hip genre in town. Mix three parts indie rock, four parts hip hop, the fattest beats this side if the street, and you have almost come up with astronautalis's ingenius scheme of world domination through music. I mean, what's up with this band? They're so kewl. I can understand the words, I can hum along. They can play MUSIC. My enjoyment does not hinge upon how hard I slam into my mosh mate. Screw Pokemon. My kids are all getting a big, fat "Once More With Feeling" in their stockings this Xmas. Here Comes Everything are a great frigging group. Yes.

Here Comes Everybody are a rare find for anyone who likes melodicism and pop hooks delivered with intelligence and brash confidence. I would liken them to other hard-hitting pop/rock acts such as XTC, Quasi and the Pixies. Off-kilter, dense and brimming over with sarcastic wit and left-field subject matter, this well-produced disc will appeal to anyone interested in melodies and song concepts more challenging than any radio fare.

Fun and contagious Venezuelan chillout!.......2006-03-31

You cannot avoid being awaken by the groovy beats mastered by this long-distance duo made up of Fernando and Armando Gómez, two Venezuelan twins based out of France and Venezuela, respectively. I first learned about their existance and heard their music in 2004, through their "Exposicion Verano-Verano" album (also highly recommendable!).

Although you can label their work as chillout, they bring into the genre a unique approach in this album, by incorporating fun folk dialogs and traditional Venezuelan instruments into a standard bossa-meets-lounge/chillout baseline. The result, much like Chambao does in the Flamenco world, is fun, contagious and hard not to want to listen to over and over.
