To misquote Paul Simon on Graceland, every generation throws a chipmunk up the children's charts. That's what Hampton the Hampster is, an updated, dancing, cyber chipmunk that came to life as a Web site bet and has flourished as an unlikely children's music pop star. His songs, like the Chipmunks' fare from their vintage 1950s days, are marked by a pinched vocal delivery that's cute, if a bit tiresome after long exposure. Hampsterdance, the Album shows off Hampton's one-upping of the Chipmunks with an irresistible panoply of dance-club beats. The music shuffles and kicks as Hampton goes from his own nonsense lyrics to the likes of "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" and a pair of bonus holiday tracks, "Jingle Bells" and "Deck the Halls." Sure, Hampton's shtick is a mite one-dimensional--thumpety dance beats and all--but the kids love this stuff. --Andrew Bartlett

this is by far my favorite cd i have ever listened too.
i love this album so much that i dedicated the songs to my three hamsters that had pasted away.

i would really recomend this album to everybody in the world.

why?
because if you have a bad day this cd will turn your day to the best day youve ever had

Even Hamsters Fall In Love... With This Album!.......2005-05-22

This is surely the finest effort by the most accomplished dance music impressario of our time, Hampton the Hamster. So much has been said and written about Hampton and his Hamsters that it almost seems pointless to add one more glittering review to the pile. Even if I were capable of articulating definitively the impact that this record has had on the face of popular music, it would be incomparable to experiencing the magic for yourself. In that interest, I will say only this: "Even Hamsters Fall In Love" is the most beautiful piece of music ever composed, by either human or hamster.

This is a really good CD. I've had it for a long time. It's all NOT kiddish. ( not really a "kid") I got this without knowing what it was for like a present and I kind of thought that maybe I wouldn't like it. But starting with the first song I was so AMAZED! This is a good CD! And " Spin the wheel" is now my favorite song. And it's not for kiddies! So go and get this if you are interested you may not be dissapointed. I shall get all future albums ( if any) ! I also have " Happy Times Ten" which includes " Life is good" Sheesh, it makes me so darn happy and it can easily cheer you up, a little to cheery but it a happy go-lucky track!

I like er,i mean love-no wait... i llllooooooooooovvveeeee this album!!!!!!!!!!! The hampsterdance song is a classic!!! I think no wait, i KNOW "Spin the Wheel" is my fave!!!!! It talks about a girl who is secretly in love but it is hard for her to keep her feelings on the low. In the song, she keeps saying "spin the wheel" and if it lands right, then "you'll be mine". It is so sweet and romantic-yet catchy at the same time!!!

This CD ROCKS! I Listin to my CD's a lot. I don't have this one
:( But I will get it soon. I always dance to it when my freinds come over and I play it at SkatePort And I go XTREMLY fast and
kick everybody's butt. I'm also gonna make the theme song ( with permission) Of a show I'll make plus putting there other songs in it. I also make up music videos for them. Hampton and the Hampsters just need to make an album With ALL their songs. It could be " Ultimete Hampsterdance." Thank you for reading this!
