Appropriate Themes for Infants & Toddlers.......2007-01-11
The themes of Hap Palmer's upbeat songs on this CD are appropriate for the under three. Themes such as those found in "My Mommy Comes Back" are real concerns of the child of this age. Another example is "Sittin' in a High Chair" which playfully recognizing the impatience of the infant-toddler waiting in his or her high chair for the food to arrive. Palmer addresses these concerns with warmth and singable tunes.
Great songs that really young ones can relate to........2006-02-25
Both my son and I love this CD. My son is 17 months old now and loves dancing to the music. I love the fact that, when I get the songs stuck in my head, I don't go crazy. The topics are appropriate for little ones. The songs are about things they can relate to, such as sitting in a highchair, playing horsey with daddy, not wanting a comfort item washed, and potty training. I highly recommend this CD.
Can't do without classic.......2003-04-24
After hearing this at my son's nursery school, I was on a mission to get a copy for our home! This is a wonderful collection of songs for little ones. The catchy lyrics and the nonintrusive music make it easy to listen to again and again. It took some finding -- online is about the only place to easily get it -- but well worth the added effort. Recommended highly to all parents searching for quality music for their young children. In addition, More Babysongs, formerly titled Tickly Toddle, is a good pairing for this CD, although the music is not quite as catchy. Still a good compliment to round out the collection.
It's All About Being a Little One!.......2002-07-29
My 18 year old daughter had this tape when she was a baby. It was our favorite! Fifteen years later, when I became pregnant with our second child, it was the first CD I bought! My son has loved it as much as his sister! All your little one's daily activities - from reading, to playing horsey with daddy, to the pride of going without a diaper, to knowing mommy will come back when she goes away for a few hours - are here. A must for every new baby's CD collection!
Still the best!.......2001-07-13
I had this CD (well it was a cassette back then) when my daughter was an infant back in 1986. I gave it away long ago, and now am buying it again for her to take when she babysits. The simple songs on this CD are soothing yet somehow fascinating to babies. After 15 years I still know most of the words to "Mommy Always Comes Back," a proven winner to sing to kids you're watching.
