Ever since my family and I went to Disney World in August 2006, my son has been smitten with Ariel from the Little Mermaid. He's such a little romantic (at 8 years old!), enjoying playing the "prince" to the princesses. (It's not unheard of for him to call a girl "M'lady", or to bow, or to kiss my hand. What a cutie pie!)

So when he saw the Disney Princess Ultimate Song Collection, he just had to have it.

This beautiful CD features 14 songs, 12 of which come from Disney movies. That is, it's not some imposter singing a new rendition of a classic song, but rather the original singer. So Jodi Benson is, indeed, singing "Part of Your World" while "Sebastian" sings "Kiss the Girl".

If you're a fan of the amazing music featured on Disney movies (e.g. Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, etc.), you'll LOVE this beautiful collection of dreamy, soothing songs.

I got this CD from my sister Harolyn. She had it to give away for Hannah Claudine's guests on her 9th birthday last year. It has all of my favorite Disney song which i think is timeless. This is a hit for kids parties. I personally sing most of the songs here. It brings out the kids heart in us. This is one collection you definitely have to keep. Happy listening!!

There are many Disney Princess songs from films in this album, and they are familiar to Disney Princess fans, except "If you can dream". I think this album is not as good as "Disney Princess Tea Party", so I don't like it very much.

Add Ultimate Jams to the ever-mounting stack of kids' records you grudgingly admit to liking yourself. Here, you haven't got a lot of choice: right when the Village People get done coaxing you, against your good grown-up judgment, into flapping your arms wildly to form the letters "YMCA," James Brown comes along and clobbers you with "I Got You (I Feel Good)." Yes, the nearly unbearable not-so Bubblicious bubble-gum pop numbers that only an 8-year-old could love crop up too (see "Blue [Da Ba Dee]" and "The Hampster Dance Song"), but no parent under 50 should consider herself cool unless she cops to bouncing, reflexively, to at least a few of these songs. In other words, don't be a snob: cue up the Jams and cut loose with the kids. Once you're pooped--and you will be--pop in the companion DVD. These songs are awsome. I have been looking for Get Ready For This for 3 months now ! Now I have found it and alot of other songs too. (Blue,Hamster Dance,Y.M.C.A.)And others not so good. But thats just my opinion,listen to the samples and see for yourself. ENJOY IT!!!!

Radio Disney Ultimate Jams sounds like a great compilation of songs, but these songs are already on jams 1 - 6, which is good if you already own those volumes. The only reason they did this was to put out the music videos that never came with volumes 1 - 6. You'd be paying for the same songs that you already paid for plus the music videos. Buy this only if you want the music videos.

I remeber rocking out to these tunes a few years back when they came on the radio, then suddenlly they stopped playing some of them especially blue[da ba de da die] one of my faves.I was so bummed.and ever since then I have been searching for those songs.And now finally I have found this cd!THANK YOU DISNEY RECORDS! THANK YOU WORLD!!

Ok i admit i bought this CD for the All For Love Music Vidio and for the song but even that was dissapointing most of these songs are old or are way overplayed.

        I like the song "For a Moment" sung by Melody and Ariel, in "The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea". I also liked the other two songs sung by the Disney Princesses "Everyone Girl Can Be a Princess" and "Waiting for My Prince" (Both songs sounded familiar, but I can't put my finger on why)

        My only problem is with the song lyric booklet, it should have included that lyrics from ALL the songs on CD 1, instead of just the songs that were on both of the CDs.

        At first, I thought this might be the most complete Disney Princess Music Collection, because it is 2-disc set. But I was wrong, it's just like the album "Disney Princess Favorite" (Which has the songs from "Cinderella-2" in it), incomplete, confusing songs, made up a strange collection. I don't know why this thing can be called "Ultimate Disney Princess".
        See, what songs are in this collection? Songs from the movies "The Lion King" "Return of Jafar" "Lady and the Tramp" and so on. Well, I don't mean I hate these movies, because they aren't Disney Princess movies! So their songs shouldn't be in this Disney Princess music collection. Though songs from "Mary Poppins" are nice, but the movie isn't a Disney Princess movie. Thought "If You Can Dream" and "Every Girl Can Be a Princess" were wonderful, but I think they can't be considered as Disney Princess favorite. And disc 2 was really superfluous. What we want now is a complete Disney Princess music collection, not a sing-along album. And in any case, these sing-along tracks were in many Disney music albums we've bought, in other words, these tracks made this "Ultimate Disney Princess" not very collectable.
        Well, we Disney fans won't blame Disney because of a track-less album. We just want to have some albums recorded with heart, even if there are only a little tracks in it. I hope that Disney can made more things collectable that can surprise and rejoice us Disney fans.

        3 out of 5 stars Second disc does this otherwise good collection little justice!.......2006-02-06

        As you may have guessed, I am a big Disney Princess fan and went out to buy this CD. On the one hand the first disc includes 26 songs, most of which are the famous numbers from their respective films, as well as some songs from certain of their sequels and other Disney movies like 'Mary Poppins' and 'Lady and the Tramp,' but thankfully all of which are the original versions (not like what people have said about some Disney Princess albums). On the other hand, the second disc wasn't necessary because the versions of just over half of the songs aren't genuine instrumental versions, but karaoke versions that sound almost similar, but technologically different, from the original songs, and this doesn't suit an otherwise interesting compilation of Disney music very much.

        My advice: It would be up to you to decide whether to buy this set, in which case you could have the whole CD if you just didn't count the second disc. The first disc is plenty fine enough. However, if you don't feel like splurging $35 on it (I only paid $20, though), there are just-as-good quality Disney compilations WITHOUT uninteresting 'karaoke' versions that I have: albums like 'Disney's Greatest Vol. 1 and 2,' 'Disney's Princess Collection Vol. 1 and 2,' and 'Disney Princess: The Ultimate Song Collection' come to mind.

          I am getting this cd for christmas.. for ages now i have been a massive fan of disney and have been looking for a good disney cd everywhere. when i saw this and listened to the tracks i just thought 'this is the cd!' For any disney lover this cd is a must have it will not disappoint! And it has disney kareoke!! How fantastic is that! i love it!
