This is a great tape! It mixes the jazz sound with interactive movements. The pre-school teacher loves it as much as my toddlers! A great recommendation for exercise time for grown-ups as well. The music swings and children love the songs, especially the animal images the words create. I am purchasing 2 more as gifts.

This is a fun CD that introduces kids to many forms of jazz. The instrumentals are totally grown-up (which makes it really enjoyable for parents), but the words are 100% for kids. The variety of the music & vocals keeps this CD exciting to listen to...over and over again. My 6 year old took to it right away, but it took a few days for my 2 year old to appreciate it. However, after watching her older brother "get down" to the music, she loved it! Our ONLY complaint is that we wish there were more tracks...10 just isn't enough.

Wow! Fun, entertaining and clever lyrics. I purchased several copies for all of my tiny friends. You will not be disappointed in this fantabulous recording!

This album is top-notch in all ways. The songwriting is clever and fun, the players are fabulous, the arrangements and production skillful. Finally, a kids album that doesn't rely on exaggerated vocals and smarmy lyrics! Jungle Jazz Joint Jump makes the accurate assumption that kids respond to quality and sophistication when coupled with fun, lively, kid-oriented content. It's a kids' album for adults who like to share musical experiences with their children--a "family" CD in the best sense.

This album is more great music from the folks who brought you the "Jungle Jazz Joint Jam". This swinging affair delivers jazz swinging enough for the afficianado yet accessible enough for the whole family.

In particular, check out the Pancho Sanchez-style latin groove on Coati the Mundi and the sailing vocals of Linda Lawson on One Leg, Two Leg.
