Customer Reviews:
We Love Lunch Money!!.......2006-09-12
We've been lucky enough to see Lunch Money play locally several times, and they are just awesome! I could (and do) listen to this CD over and over with my kids and actually ENJOY it (can't say that about many kids' CDs).
I'm thrilled to see Lunch Money getting some national attention; they are a really talented group!
Great Fun.......2006-08-22
This CD is great. The group Lunch Money is definitely on it's way up. I have seen them in person at a small branch library near where I live. The group is just as personable and approachable as the songs are. Kids just can't seem to get enough of the music. My nephews and neice listened to the songs so much, they know all the words by heart. their favorite is the Roller Coaster song. Give it a try, and I know that neither you nor your kids will be disappointed.
Sowing the seeds for tomorrows indie rockers.......2006-06-04
I haven't seen them live (yet), but each track conjurs up images of throngs of children reciting hand motions, and parents who can't help but join in. The energy isn't from over-stimulating sugar coated Barney-pop, but rather the raw delivery that supplies a platform for honest poetic lyricism (hence the Indie-rock allusion). The lyrics cut straigh to the things that really matter: cabooses, bugs, tricycles, and dogs (or the lack thereof).
This music kneels down to address children at eye-level, but somehow manages not to stoop.
Please keep the Lunch Money albums coming!
Sweet and Fun.......2006-01-17
My two year old son and I love this cd. It was recommended to us by my musician brother who has two daughters (4 and 2) who love it too. It sounds light and sprightly and we never get sick of it. Funny, sweet lyrics, a happy mood, and not over produced.
