"can you hear" is an up-beat album that stresses the importance to listen to the small voices of our children. "We have found by listening to the voices of children, no matter how small, to their fears and dreams, we enable them to believe in their own power to change the world teaching them that there is hope, there is a future, there is a better world. The boundaries of their world, and mine, are extended to new friends, new ways of thinking, and new sounds," continued Papoulis.
About the Artist
Jim Papoulis (Composer - Producer) composes and orchestrates music for film, dance, classical ensembles, theater and commercials. Trained in classical and jazz, he has been combining these musical genres with gospel, world beat, R & B, contemporary pop and spoken word to create a unique hybrid sound.

It is part of an international concert series called Sounds of a Better World, produced and composed by Jim Papoulis, Boosey & Hawkes’ composer, and co-founder of "The Foundation for Small Voices," a non-profit organization dedicated to using music to raise awareness and generate funds that support national and international music programs for children.
