Laughing Pizza is a family musical band that presents a distinctive spin on entertainment for kids and their parents. Lisa, Billy and their young daughter Emily create cool and infectious pop songs that inspire and entertain. Their debut CD entitled Meet the Pizza!s as well as their VHS/DVD series entitled Feelin’ Good! earned three awards from The Parents’ Choice Foundation in 2002 and 2003. Their latest CD "Pizza Party!" recently won a 2004 Parents' Choice Recommended Award.

Founded in March 2002 by husband and wife Billy Schlosser and Lisa Michaelis, Laughing Pizza makes songs for families to share, and is the first band signed by Atlanta-based Little Bean Records. All products, including music CDs, DVDs, videos and other mediums, reflect Laughing Pizza’s guiding principles to celebrate one’s differences and similarities, to encourage love and understanding, and to promote harmony – literally and figuratively.

Energetic and danceable, "Back to School" reveals a child’s true enthusiasm about the summer’s end; "Just a Minute, Maurice" subtly teaches the virtue of patience to a calypso rap tune; "Don’t Cry About Stuff" puts materialism into perspective; and "Candybar" sings praise to the acclaimed Dylan’s Candy Bar in Manhattan, where the song plays daily and where Laughing Pizza will perform on May 24, 2004 at a benefit for the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House.

This is a GREAT cd!Not just for my kids,I have it in my car and listen to it ALL the time - even when the kids aren't with me! Great music- nice production.Thank goodness I can enjoy this with my family and not have to keep changing the dials on the radio!! It's not just for kids...also an excellent gift!!I've given it to at least 5 families - all have raved.
