Not the songs I was looking for........2006-05-19
I found it...The Toilet Buddies have the adult songs that I heard on the radio.
wrong CD.......2006-03-26
I heard a cd with funny songs on the radio and thought this was it. Unfortunately this was not it. This cd is geared for kids and the one I wanted might be more adult orinated.

We love this CD!!! Me and my wife heard about this from the "Drew and Mike" radio show here in Detroit, and once we had our daughter, we knew this CD had to be part of our library. Like most kids' things, it's short (only 20 minutes long and jutst eight songs), but most of these tunes stick with you like baby poop in an extra-absorbant diaper! We love "Gotta Go Go," which is Zydeco at its best and contains one of the most clever lyrics we've ever heard -- "Got a bright shiny brand new potty today/to be the final destination of my etoufee"! Genius!!! The '70s-style funk rap "Flush the Magic Dragon" is a great lesson in what can be flushed and what can't, and "Everything's Gonna Come Out Just Fine" is so catchy, everyone will be singing it, especially the kid -- "Oh dear, whatcha gonna do/number one or number two?" Yeah, sometimes Auntie Poo can be a little lame, expecially on the sentimental "I'll Be Potty Trained By My Birthday" and "Gas Food Lodging (Baby Hold On)," but when she's good, she's awesome! It playfully pushes the subject matter and encourages, er, potty talk (the "clean" kind), but how else are kids gonna know that going to the bathroom is a natural thing? We can't wait for a follow-up, or, should we say, "Number 2"! (tee-hee!)
A landmark album.......2001-08-02
This was the band's final album before Auntie Poo succumbed to that most tragic of rockstar ends when she was found lifeless and bobbing in a swimming pool. Though Porta-Potties stalwarts Poo Reed and Iggy Poop went onto moderate solo success with their subsequent careers (and with the latter briefly lining up with Fleetwood Cack), nothing quite matched the raw brilliance of their collaborative work with Auntie Poo. "Potty Animal" has stood the test though, and is up there with the truly great records of all time ("Sergeant Pooper's Lonely Hearts' Club Band" by the Beatles, "Itchypoo Park" by the Small Faeces and Zappa's "Lumpy Gravy"). Truly inspirational.
