My mother got this album, along with two others by someone else, for my 3 month old daughter. It has many songs from her childhood days in Cuba. After listening to all of them this is the one I keep going back to. Not only has my daughter (now 5 months) shown preference to it by flashing a big smile every time she hears the opening song, but the fact that they use real instruments and not just synthesized sound is a real plus. The songs have flute, trumpet, marimba, clarinet, and drums.

It is so nice to have such a great collection of Spanish songs to sing to my daughter now. I have learned every one and plan to get the second volume.

Maybe it is because my mother had this exact CD in LP album and we used to hear it all the time that I find it a great acquisition for any child! It has popular songs easy to learn and sing along. Listening to it all over again brought back memories... (good ones) of those days, and I hope my daughter can build memories that get retrieved when songs play!
