Though the production is a wee bit stagy, fans of the Cedarmont Kids Classics Series will be delighted with their version of the Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus Christ. Formatted as a performance with the script and lyrics included in the liner notes, The Easter Miracle is a collection of mostly traditional songs of faith linked by an adult narrator and the Kids discovering the meaning of Easter. The core message as encapsulated by one child is: "So, that's the Easter miracle! Since Christ rose from the dead, we have new life in Him!" Musically, the highpoints are the simply delivered "He Is Lord" and the inclusion of the Charles Wesley-penned "Christ the Lord Is Risen Today," which succinctly captures the joyous spirit in which the Holy Week is made complete. --Paige La Grone

    I couldn't believe how bad the sound quality on these cd's was. I thought Opera D'Oro cd's were bad. These sounded like they were copied from a tape player that recorded from popping and clicking LP's. What amazed me was how easily the sound distorted at the lowest volume. Yeesh!

    I found these discs to be different and interesting. They get kind of repetative after a while though, but I like the change of pace. I suppose if I was more into this kind of music I may have a more positive reaction!
