    I first heard and saw Chris play on Kenny Loggins' acoustic concert in the woods. He showed exemplary guitar and singing skills when he played side by side with Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonalds and Will Ackerman. But Chris was more powerful in Don Moen's I Will Sing live album where he showed ambidextrous skills in delivering power riffs and licks providing color and smooth texture to Don Moen's songs. For people who appreciates musical craftmanship, get a copy of Chris Rodriguez's album. It's his personal masterpiece and talent interpretation. Keep it up Chris!!!!

    I first heard of Chris Rodriguez by way of Mr Kenny Loggins, who employed the talent of Chris to play guitar and do the background vocals both in the studio and on the road. Also he has backed some other greats like Michael McDonald, Vince Gill and others.
    This guy can play, write, sing and more. He is very much in touch with his soul and it shows! My favorite tune is the title track, but the rest is so good, I cannot choose a favorite one.

    This is one of the best cd's I've evr heard,espicially comin from the guy who played guitar on the song Jesus Freak.Best songs are Saved,Turn Around,Your Love,and This Time Around.

    Chris has been around for awhile, honing his skills in the background by providing memorable backup for other artists. It shows! He delivers a sharp, focused, professional sound. The songwriting is solid and catchy. At times, he reminds me of mid-career Squeeze (East Side Story) and Crowded House, in terms of the composition and vocal delivery of the songs. My favorite song is "Magdalene," which I think highlights the beauty of his voice. Simple and haunting. All in all, this is a good album; however, I think that at times the message, as well as his voice get lost in the "bigness" and clamor of the production. His voice and music can be breathtakingly moving, as in "Sanctuary" on the Streams collection. I'm interested to see what his next project sounds like. . .

    Beggars Paradise should be featured in record stores everywhere....Chris has turned out a truly inspiring CD , his talents have just started to be tapped. Listen to the songs and it is easy to understand what this man is made of; honesty,spirituality,sincereity, and a love of life and his creator. Chris has a voice that can send you places; into joy, happiness, contemplation, and love. I can only hope we will be hearing alot more from Chris soon. I especially would look forward to a Christmas CD. My love of music is varied, Chris being a part of Kenny Loggins Band,as well as so many other artists recordings just shows the talent and determination of the man and the love of his work. After meeting Chris this summer I can only say he is a kind ,gentle soul, that loves his craft and also loves to rock and roll too. Go Chris! I think we all should be ready to see much more of Chris on the charts soon. Chris,thanks for the music and the love. hugs to ya.
