If chemistry were as fun and easy as it sounds on the Twin Sisters' Chemistry, we'd all be throwing over our day jobs for the white coats and test tubes. Of course, the goal with this album is to get kids to think about how the world we live in is really one big (organic) chemical factory. Through a dozen sing-alongs, grownups and kids explore what a chemist does, what chemistry is all about, and how experiments work. Specific tunes ask "Is It Sugar, or Is It Salt?" and "What Is the Smallest Part?" (a smart crash course on atoms) and songs talk about the magical ways of water and the building blocks of life. About the Artist
Twin Sisters Productions, Inc. is a women-owned company started by twin sisters Kim Mitzo Thompson and Karen Mitzo Hilderbrand. Kim has a masters degree in "Integrating the Arts in the Elementary School Curriculum". Karen is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Industrial Engineering. Both sisters are avid music lovers, taking after their father who has been a member of the Shaker Symphony for the past forty-three years.
