Great Bubbles.......2001-08-04

My daughter (6) loves the CD. It took a while for her to warm up to it, but once she did, it became a household staple. She now goes to sleep with it, and frequently, when she has friends over and closes her door, I'll hear it blasting and the girls dancing and singing.

She particularly enjoys the first ant last songs...she calls them the Great Big Bubble and Animal Safari. The latter makes her think about swinging on monkey bars!

Denny has done a great job of capturing the energy and imagination of the primary aged kid. Mom and I enjoy the tunes as well... they are cleverly written and fun.

I just finished a class with Denny Dey and could hardly wait to hear the CD "Do Turtles Need Girdles?". The CD was such an entertaining hoot as I shared it with my family. I teach Kinders, so my family is used to "Mom getting goofy" and understands my enthusiasm for this CD. Denny catches the listeners' interest as he rhythmically weaves rhymes and humor with subject content that concern kids such as needing hugs, self-image and bullies. Our favorite song is "Shoop-Doop-Do" as our own kids once thought we too were funny oldies when we danced, but now they too love to dance. This CD fills the kids up with uplifting excitement so they just have to get up & dance their wiggles & share their giggles. Denny has "found the fun" and with ease he takes us to that place of open expression to laugh. Denny opens the door through music & lyrics for us to find humor & fun in what we do. We can then realize this is "OKAY" to express! I look forward to sharing "the fun" with my students.

What an awesome CD! "Whatchagonnado" is a perfect song to begin helping students learn how to dissolve a playground bully.

I think it's the best CD ever! It's hilarious. My favorite song on the CD is "Kindergarten Blues." Every kid should have this.

Turtles Tops My List!.......2001-03-23

I teach sixth grade and my students work hard and deserve a reward when they have done their best! They love this CD! I have no idea how many times they have requested it, but I can tell you that they listen while they work and usually sing right along with the lyrics! This is great music for kids!
