Each rap is followed by a fun-filled song, rich with words featuring the targeted alphabet sound. "Frog Town Band," covers the following letters: F, V, A, S, Z, O, as well as the phoneme sounds of Th and Sh. (The remaining alphabet sounds are found on "Purple Pig," "Oodles and Loads and Lots of Things," and "Queens and Quarterbacks." Jim Post, well-known for his 60s hit, "Reach Out of the Darkness," is the featured vocalist, and Amy Gile, author and teacher, enunciates each of the alphabet and phoneme sounds.
