Pugs and the Puppies is a band of puppies from Boston, MA. They write and perform songs about their lives. This recording is for children ages 2-8, and I believe adults will enjoy it as well.

The CD includes a 24 page full color booklet. Each song is accompanied by an illustration and song lyrics, so kids can follow along while they listen.

My four year old son loves Pugs and the Puppies! He listens to it all the time and can't wait for another cd to come out!

This is a well-composed, light-hearted and whimsical piece, that should entertain kids and make adults smile. I look forward to more work from the Thoft-Brown duo.

Wow! Our kids love music and they were not disappointed with the pugs songs. Very upbeat and happy music is the best way to describe the songs. They are very instrumental, intelligent sounding tunes that any 2 to 7 year olds would like. My 5 year old particularly likes to turn the pages of the song book as the songs play and associates the colorful pictures with each song. The songs are easy enough for kids to learn to sing along with but yet introduce some advanced vocabulary that has perked the interest of my 5 year old. He asked me what the Eiffel Tower was! My 3 year old's favorite song is "Down by the ocean." The artist must definitely have children or know what they like. Very positive, happy music. As parents of three children under the age of 5 we highly recommend this one.
