Australian Preschool Teachers Jeff Fatt and Tony Field Formed a Band Aimed at Children in 1979 Called the Cockroaches that Toiled around Australia for 12 Years. My son watches this DVD over and over. We dance, we sing, and we laugh. It is a great way to spend quality time with your youngster. He is 18 months old and knows most of the words to all of the songs. I even bought the soundtrack!

The Wiggles, that wacky, kid-wowing Australian outfit, welcome preschoolers for a lively, loopy musical fiesta with Toot Toot! Chiming in on this 23-track charmer of a dance- and sing-along are the usual wiggly suspects: Captain Feathersword relates how he loves to dance in his pirate pants on the spoken-word "Raincoat Story"; Henry the Octopus's "marvelous talent" for baking, roasting, and frying seaweed pies is celebrated on "Henry the Octopus"; and Henry's tireless tentacles also inspire the next get-you-moving tune, "Move Your Arms Like Henry." The gang drops in on Dorothy the Dinosaur on "Tell Me Who Is That Knocking?" Then rascally pup Wags gets down on "Wags the Dog, He Likes to Tango" (which, we're reminded, rhymes with mango). Mostly, this is silly, groove-along good fun, but the goofball foursome of Anthony, Murray, Greg, and Jeff also slip in a solidly educational number here and there: "Look Both Ways" drives home an important safety message for little pedestrians, and "John Bodlelum" and "I Climb 10 Stairs" reinforce recently acquired counting skills. As always, the Wiggles dish up a dose of Australianisms, but here they're easy to digest. My 2 year old grandson is a Wiggles fanatic. This sound track is identical to the DVD of the same name, which he has memorized. This way Wiggles can go with us in the car as he sings along verbatum.....yippee....great for kids...hard on parents. Enjoy.

My 2 year old dt loves this CD, and its so adorable to see her do all the moves while she's sitting in her car seat. My 5 year old son is still willing to listen to it too. We have 2 other Wiggles CD and we've yet been disappointed by any of them. My 5 year old fell in love with them when he was 18 mos and now he says its for "babies" but secretly he still sings the songs and will dance to the music. If your kids enjoy The Wiggles, they will love this CD.

The Wiggles are fast becoming the 2- to 6-year-old crowd's answer to the Fab Four in their native Australia, inciting ants-in-the-pants squirming, squeals of delight, and worshipful sing-alongs all across the nation. With their eponymous TV show, they're poised to widen the Wigglemania. On Let's Wiggle, Anthony Field (the blue-shirted Wiggle), Murray Cook (the red-shirted one), Greg Page (always in yellow), and Jeff Fatt (perennially purple) and their costumed pals Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Henry the Octopus, and Wags the Dog settle in for some serious silliness on such songs as "Fly Through the Air," "I Look in the Mirror," and "Little Brown Ant." Simple musical arrangements and easy-to-grasp themes ("I love it when it rains / And I lie in bed at night / I listen to it patter" is the extent of one lyric) pave the way for attentive listening. The Wiggles also earn a nod in the credibility category: 13 of this album's songs were written by group members (the rest, like "Sing a Song of Polly" and "Bound for South Australia" are traditional songs), and they even handle their own guitars. Overall, despite what sometimes feels like overkill on the Australia angle (lots of kangaroos and kookaburras scamper through these songs), parents would be hard-pressed to find a better bunch of guys for their preschoolers to wiggle with. --Tammy La Gorce

This CD is very catchy, lots of great new original songs and some familiar ones from our childhood too (Row row row your boat). The Wiggles crew did some nice songwriting for this CD, and although the songs are fun and singable like all the Wiggles tunes, these are a little more jazzy and have great variety. My kids instantly fell in love with this CD and request it in the car everytime we drive somewhere. The Racing to the Rainbow DVD is also very good! This is the last CD with Greg doing the singing, worth the money. Give this one an A+ !

This is a great CD the live in concert makes it a lot more fun, to listen to and gets the kids to interact more with the music. Parents can have fun with this as well, lots of oppurtunties to dance and move with your childern. Wish they would put more of the Captains songs on there CD's (ex: captains magic buttons,piarte school).

Our 2 1/2 year old could listen to this album over and over and over. She loves it and it gets her dancing and singing. Beware of the Wiggles though, they will get into your head and never get out. That said, we are so happy with this album and we listen to it in every room of the house and in the car. I hear my little girl singing the songs as she goes to bed which is sweet.

Take it from our three year old, it's their best work yet. We enjoy most of their albums (some are complete duds like the Western one), but this one is classic from start to end. The songs are short and sweet, yet uniquely hip. It is rare that the CD is out of our player, and when it is, it is usually the Yummy Yummy CD. We even purchased the Dance Party DVD which features a much younger looking Wiggles (and with Anthony in desperate need for a haircut) and it is an enjoyable companion to this lovely album.

My son is two and has loved the Wiggles since he was four months old. The songs are fun to dance to and have some educational background to them as well (check out the video, too). I am a kindergarten teacher and have used tracks in the classroom to teach letter sounds (Di Dicki Do Dum) and blends as well as poetry timing. I am very pleased!

My daughter loves the Wiggles Yummy Yummy CD, so after reading some good reviews on Dance Party I decided to buy it. This CD is a lot more annoying than Yummy Yummy - some songs actually make me cringe. My daughter likes the CD, but it is not one of her favorites.

If you have a Wiggles fan in your house and have most of their other releases, then by all means, be sure to get this one. It almost has a "country" feel, with some of the songs definitely sounding like they were penned by some of the Nashville greats. However, that just shows the diversity of this group who is not only able to get kids to interact and to learn at the same time, but to also teach them musically different languages and cultures. We've learned a LOT from the Wiggles in our house. My little one has been Wiggling for 2.5 years with no signs of stopping. This CD is a must for the car - it's both calming but energetic, if that's really possible. The song "Morningtown Ride" is just adorable and you'll have to get the DVD for SURE just to see that one. It's a favorite in our house. Grab this one for a little diversity - you'll be glad you did! Highly recommend!

We have watched a lot of Wiggles shows, even one concert...and these CDs are good, but have VERY few songs we had ever heard before.

I purchased this CD set for my 18 month old son. He LOVES The Wiggles and he knows most of the motions to their choreography. One of his favorite songs is "Move Like an Emu." When we play these CDs in the car, I occasionally turn around and see his arms moving...the exact motions we see on TV/DVDs. You cannot go wrong with The Wiggles! If your child is a Wiggles fan, he/she will love these CDs. FYI: One of the CDs in the set includes lots of songs we had never heard before, but we were already familiar with most of the songs on the other two CDs.

My son absolutely loves the music and dances around the house to it. It is a great value for 3 cds. The only problem is the plastic cd holders are lousy. My son used the item for two days and all were broken.

My kids love this cd set of their favorite band, The Wiggles! I recommend this collection as a lot of different songs as well as old favorites are included in the set. We listen to it all the time. If your little ones like the Wiggles this is a good set for them.

This is my favorite Wiggles CD so far. It has tons of really good songs. My daughter loves it so much. We sing to it in the car. Try playing the "kneading some dough" song when you play with play-doh! It's fun!

As always, we love anything these guys put out. This is a great collection of songs, and we do enjoy the album... but someone needs to tell the right people about the sequencing problems. This is not the first album from the Wiggles that this has occurred. For instance, when the album art states song 4 is a certain song, song 4 on the CD player is something completely different. This is because there is dialog, and the CD is counting the dialog as a track... but someone needs to talk to the art department that designed this CD coverart.

Just a rant... but the album still rocks!

I think this cd is ok, the songs are pretty good but there is a lot of talking through out the cd. I wouldn't have purchased this cd if I knew that there was dialogue between songs and things like that.

Both of my kids (1 and 3 yrs old) listen to this record all day long. They are great songs and fun for adult to listen to too.
