About the Artist
Laura Simms is a native of Brooklyn, New York, and is of Romanian and Polish descent. Since 1968, she has been a leading force in the revival of storytelling as a form of global fine art. She is best know for her monumental retellings of ancient myth and fairy tale with their illumination of contemporary living. I am a child psychologist and use this CD as waiting room music for kids. They request it every week and never seem to get tired of it!

Four legged tales for the two legged imaginations.......2000-11-19

This is the best story telling adventure I've found. Reminiscent of stories told over a campfire before bedding down for the night. Stories that peek the imagination and cause the mind to drift. A stress reliever for young and old alike. Stories seem to take new meaning each time you listen.
