About the Artist
CC Couch is a former Epic Records artist who has co-written and performed several children's albums including I PURR-A CAT'S TALE, LULLABABY, KIDDANCERCISE, 12 FABLES, COLORS, CALENDAR KIDS, and LET THERE BE LIGHT in addition to her Christmas albums, the popular A FRENCH CHRISTMAS, O ABIES-CHRISTMAS CAROLS IN LATIN, HISPANIC CHRISTMAS and soon to be released STILLE NACHT - A GERMAN CHRISTMAS. She has also performed on the series OH LA LA, SING YOUR WAY TO FRENCH.

Album Description
Fifteen well-known melodies, with new musical arrangements, are sung with words that teach Latin grammar and culture. Not intended as a stand alone course, this CD can be used along with classroom or home schooling. Teddy Irwin, who has played with Petula Clark, Bette Midler, Jimmy Buffet and Doc Severinson, among others, scored and arranged all the selections. LeaAnn Osburn, classical language consultant, has been a Latin teacher for 30 years and is now an editor of Latin textbooks. She is the author of the lyrics along with David Pellegrino and CC Couch. Lyrical Latin, A Teacher Resource Manual is forthcoming from LeaAnn Osburn.
