"Good-for-you songs of inspiration and learning go down easy as sung by "The Uncle Brothers," Danny Quinn and Tom Gardner. This pleasant mix of original and folk songs includes faithful evergreens such as "This Land is Your Land," "Waltzing Matilda," and "If I Had a Hammer." It also offers many tuneful encouragements: "I Can," "Reach Out," "Team Work" and "What You Do With What You've Got."

The highlight is the transformation of "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" to "Young MacDonald Loved to Read." On this book-lover's farm there is an educated chicken ("with a book-book here"), a genius frog ("read-it, read-it") and a smart aleck duck ("with a wise-quack here"), to name a few. It's not hard to figure out why this CD is called "Fun and Games." Songs like "Spin" and "Macaroni & Cheese" will have kids (and adults) laughing out loud as they recognize themselves in the lyrics. "Hopscotch" is, naturally, about that classic game, while "Sally Salamander" weaves a tale that keeps kids guessing about what will happen next.

But the real story behind the "Fun and Games" name is the attitude; this CD is so positive, you can't help but feel good listening to it.

Ben Rudnick and Friends have done it again! Fun and Games will provide the glue to bring your whole family, young and old, together. The songs on this CD are very positive and upbeat while at the same time having a terrific sound to them. This CD is one where the more you listen to it the better and better it gets, with no burn out! You can't go wrong with this one. It will be a family favorite forever!
