5 out of 5 stars Fascinating, Enjoyable & Very Appealing To Children!.......2003-01-31

This is such a great recording/musical story! It puts the quality of most stories to shame. My five year old son adored it and I also bought the classroom teacher's guide which is for more advanced children (7+) Buy this for it's timeless appeal, beautifully chosen classical pieces and the fact that you'll enjoy listening to it as much as your children/grandchildren!
This makes an excellent gift for children whom are learning to tell time, or play musical instruments! Make a little "lyre" or harp using an empty tissue box and rubber bands with your child afterwards, and get the Teacher's Guide! It's well worth it!
Very creative storyline! We listened to it over and over, about five times within one week and he still likes hearing it every night before he goes to bed. Read Fred Flaxman's review of this story also;)
