Best worship music ever.......2007-06-25
I received this CD as a gift, and played it so often, that we needed to get one for the car. Each song is so memorable; the musicians and vocalists are top notch. Ending up buying a lot more music by Robin Mark and his team.

Awesome, beautiful, inspiring worship. A must-own,.......2007-03-15
This cd is a classic of worship cds and deservedly so. Robin Mark and his band play songs of uncommon beauty. The lyrics lift up and exalt Christ and the musicianship is top-notch. I have owned this cd for a few years now and it never gets old. Every song is excellent, but a few standout tracks include Revival, Jesus, all for Jesus and an awe-inspiring version of Days of Elijah, which is worth the cost of the album by itself. My favorite song, however, is the gentle and woshipful How Great are You Lord. I hope heaven sounds like this.
Absolutely brilliant worship album.......2007-02-14
This is a unique, uplifting, utterly brilliant worship album. I can honestly say that I had never before heard of Irish-based music in the form of a worship concert album. The message in the songs is uplifting and spiritual, and the music itself is wonderful. Be prepared to have your heartstrings tugged on songs like the opener "Garments of Praise", "How Great Are You Lord", and "Be Unto Your Name". "Revival" is a wonderful, epic, thought-provoking, anthemic song. "Shout to the North" is a catchy, uptempo number. "Days of Elijah", as the closing track, is the ultimate uplifting masterpiece. My congregation has used this brilliant track as a sending song every couple of months or so for the past couple of years, and it is an absolute congregational favorite in a church where contemporary worship is finally beginning to be embraced.
For sure, "Days of Elijah" is representative of an album that is an absolute winner. The songs are based on passages in the Bible, and the music is touching and uplifting and truly praises Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. In addition, the songs are not at all hard to learn and sing along to. I highly recommend this album.
Revival in Belfast - Robin Mark.......2007-01-06
I love this celtic annointed worship music. Enter into His Presence with this CD. My personal favourites are: When It's All Been Said & Done, There is No other Name & Days of Elijah. I first heard "When all's Been Said & Done" on the Worship network, and I knew I had to get this CD. You can't help but sing along especially to Days of Elijah. My spirit is blessed with this lovely music.

Wonderful worship with Robin Mark.......2007-03-30
Revival in Belfast II is a wonderful worship experience. Mark has a gift for bringing his listeners into the presence of God to worship our God with music.
I really love this album.......2007-03-24
I had to revise my comments after listening to this CD more. I heard the song Killovil an Irish instrumental. I thought the CD was going to have Irish type music or Irish/Worship music. This was the only Irish instrumental on the CD. After playing the album a few times there are worship songs with the whistle and Irish flavor. I have come to love this CD. There are many good songs on it. My favorite worship song is "Some Kind of Love" and "Miracle in My Heart". Miracle in My Heart has the Irish whistle in. The CD music and songs are uplifting. I tried to change the rating from 3 to 5. I now want to rate this CD a 5
My least favorite Robin Mark CD.......2006-12-09
I really like all of Robin Mark's CDs, except for this one. I think that on all his other CDs you hear a musician who puts his whole heart into his music. This CD is still good and I myself could not sing nearly as well, but Revival in Belfast II somehow seems to be "a little more flat" and "just another Christian CD" whereas the others were more special.
Better than the last.......2005-08-14
This cd is filled with passionate songs written by a very humble man. I was thrilled to hear that Robin put out a "sequel" to Revival in Belfast and this did not disappoint. I love it even more than the first. For one thing, Robin wrote more of the songs on this one than the last. For a second, they are still filled with the great sounds of the old country - pennywhistle and uileann pipes. Finally, it is encouraging to hear such great music from such a humble musician. I have met Robin and he is inspiring because he views his work as nothing more than any other servant would do.
Blah.......2005-06-13
After a hit comes the sequel, which is usually quite bland. Same with this CD. Revival In Belfast was outstanding, but Revival In Belfast II is quite different. Gone is the Celtic beat. Even Robin Mark seems to have lost his Irish brogue. This CD sounds like a million other Christian CCM CD's. Sorry, but if you want a Celtic Christian music CD, this one is not it.

Album Description
Birthed out of one of the largest churches in Northern Ireland, Christian Fellowship Church, Revival In Belfast II captures the anointed worship of internationally-known worship leader/songwriter Robin Mark. Blending traditional Irish instrumentation with the passion of modern worship, this new LIVE recording is the follow-up to the best selling album Revival In Belfast.
Customer Reviews:
Another Home Run from Belfast!!.......2005-04-04
If you enjoyed RIB then this is a sure fire hit - great blend of songs, great irish melodies, annointed worship. Robin is one of the most annointed worship leaders around today. There is an honesty in his songs that is is so refreshing.
The album feels different to RIB and Come heal this land - some new sounds (you are my souls desire) but the overall product is really excellent.
I have heard RObin many times in concert and cannot recommend his music highly enough.
Buy this album - you will not regret it - use it in your church, car, home office and let God bless you through it.
Darn it, another disappointment.......2004-10-11
Irishman Robin Mark burst onto the Christian music scene in 1999 with Revival In Belfast, a passionate live-in-concert mix of ballads and up-tempo worship songs. It was brilliant.
However, it's becoming evident that recording is a once-in-a-lifetime success. The sequel, 2001's Come Heal This Land, had a few memorable numbers, but lots of forgettable songs, too. The same, sadly, must be said about this project.
Mark seems to lack the ability to structure drama or passion into his arrangements (i.e. stops and starts, changes in key at important moments, building up to an emotional peak), so pretty much everything on RIB II lacks passion, including the audience.
Fans of Revival In Belfast will also notice his voice is becoming increasingly raspy. It's not a huge problem, compared to what else I've mentioned here, but it doesn't help.
Wish I could write a slam-bang endorsement for this album...I was quite excited when it came out, but now feel let-down.

Punkers Still Going Strong.......2005-10-26
These punkers are still going strong with Guitar and Drum being one of their best albums in years. The second track, "Strummerville" very emotional tribute to the late Joe Strummer.
Guitar and Drum still rings of the rebellion they started with combines with the wisdom of age.
A Classic Return.......2005-08-15
Stiff Little Fingers' newest album is a great punk record. It is alot better than any of the newer punk bands out right now. Jake Burns still has a great voice after all these years. The guitar is as heavy as it ever was. And still the reggae influence is still strong. This album also has a tribute to the late Joe Strummer, whose former band The Clash was a strong influence on SLF. Favorites include Guitar & Drum, Strummerville (for Joe Strummer), Can't Get Away With That, Walkin' Dynamite, Be True to Yourself, Best of Fools, I Waited, Achilles' Heart, Who Died and Made You Elvis?, and Protect and Serve. Highly Highly Recommended.
Interesting, needs some work.......2004-08-30
I went to see SLF last week at a local club, I gave serious consideration to leaving early! SLF was one of my Fav bands when I was younger! They were so intense, and conveyed a feeling of angst that was unfounded in other Bands. I thought if I left, I would be able to keep that feeling that I had before the show that they were somehow a truely great band and if I stayed I thought I would be disappointed!
I wasn't!!! After about the third song they were in full force and they put on one of my favortie shows! Very intense, and for a bunch of old men (My age, I don't feel old?), they were pretty damn good! They played quite a few songs off of this album, which prompted me to buy it for the ride home!
I am really glad I did buy it! Guitar and Drums is a good album, and with a little more care, it may have been a great album! They put a few "filler" songs that drone out the good songs!
All in all, this is worth having, especially if you're like me, and old skater who grew up on SLF! It won't be your Fav SLF album, but I guarantee you will try to get your friends to listen to it, as a favor to them!
Jake Burns fails to produce a good album...again.......2004-08-24
Here is a prime example of a band who should've just called it quits after their first few albums. Well, actually, they did, but then of course, Mr. Burns has to go a get a few people who were never in the band and, instead of calling it something in the vein of The Jake Burns Experience, he slaps his old band's moniker on it. Classic cash in attempt. Perhaps over these past ten years of touring like mad (since he's apparently broke or something) "SLF" have gotten more serious about their music, they just don't sound like it, that's all. Skip this album and pick up Inflammable Material or Nobodys Heroes instead and don't get ripped off like I did. If you want good, current pop punk, get the Presidents of the United States of America's new album, which, unlike this chum, is still fresh and interesting.
Still at the top of their game.......2004-08-16
Stiff Little Fingers, the musical bridge between The Clash and The Vandals, are back, and they're still better than anyone else around. Utilizing their own guitar and drums, they show these new lame-o whippersnappers how to write REAL pop-punk. Okay, to be fair, some of the songs feel long and the choruses tend to be repetitive. But still - this is a great album of fresh material (they sound like bands half their age), and it's a ton of fun to listen to.
