I Am Not Alone.......2007-01-07

I bought this CD out of the "on sale" bin at the Christian book store, and so glad I did. Wow - I love it! So worth every dime and more! I love music that reminds me of the Lord's faithfulness... the music, but especially the lyrics, are so good. Natalie is extremely blessed with a beautiful God-given voice. She is full of passion when she sings. My husband and I both love this CD. Especially, "I Am Not Alone" and "I Desire". Actually, overall, I like all the songs. I've since bought two more of her CD's.

Was looking for Christian music to inspire me.......2006-05-27

I found it! This cd is very inspiring, the lyrics are beautiful and the sound is wonderful. My biggest apprehension about Christian music was that the artists might not sound like the popular, secular music that I was used to. She sounds like Celine Dion, except Celine only sings about mushy love and Natalie's songs are deep and inspiring. I thank God for her talent and willingness to share it with the rest of us.

Awesome Father/Daughter dance song.......2005-09-07

On this album, the song, "Always be your baby", is an incredible song for fathers/daughters. It is especially appropos to those of us getting married at a later age (or a second marriage). Prepare yourself for a good tear jerker, though, if you have a close relationship with your Dad. This one song makes the whole album worthwhile.

Natalie Grant- Deeper Life.......2005-05-18

Anyone who is spiritual or just likes to listen to a great vocalist will love the Natalie Grant CD. She's an amazing singer with great faith insight and depth. I'm a big Christian Music fan and she is my favorite artist. Not your typical gospel music but a great pick-up to my day. Youth and adults alike will enjoy this CD. My personal favorite is Days like this (track 2). The lyrics send a powerful message that is positive and a great relief from the negativity of the world. Besides, the way she switches her style to accommodate all types of listners is magnificent.

If there were 10 stars, this album would be one of them! Great songs! A few are more energetic and a couple are more mellow. I would definately give this album 2 THUMBS UP!

Angelina has a beautiful voice! Just wanted to add to the other recommendations, though. Kitty Cleveland has a BEAUTIFUL voice, and her version with a children's choir is my favorite--even over the one from EWTN.

Let me amend my earlier review. (See Father Harlan's "Priest's Review.")

I was praising Angelina's voice, but I didn't necessarily mean this particular album (Chaplet of Divine Mercy). I happen to agree with L.J. Toms, that the two EWTN versions of the sung Chaplet are THE BEST!

If you want to hear Angelina at her best, listen to "Mary's Way of the Cross," and "Angelina Prays the Rosary."

Also, please be advised, we are all talking here about Angelina from Franciscan University of Steubenville, NOT the other Latin recording artist named Angelina, who sings Spanish dance music!

Voice of an Angel, perhaps, but..........2005-12-20

I guess I'll express the minority opinion on this. She does, indeed, have an absolutely beautiful voice - pure and angelic. My disappointment is that the music is rather dark, sharp and unmelodic. I was really looking for a rendition of the Divine Mercy aired on EWTN twice a day, which is a sweet, passionate song that I can't stop singing. My suggestion - buy Angelina's Rosary CD, but get the Divine Mercy CD from EWTN.com or marian.org (look for the one with Trish Short). Sorry, Angelina, your voice is truly spectacular, I just wish the song were better.

I met Angelina a few years ago and was able to hear her sing live at a concert. Not only does she sound great on CD's, she is fantastic singing live. A very humble and sweet girl with a strong voice that is so clear and pleasant to listen to. I see great things happening for her. Every CD she makes, she gets better and better.

A gem of musical prowess and deep compassion. The artists Steve, Ami, and Friends really put their hearts into this one. Listen for the track with former Rusted Root drummer Jim as well!

Good for anytime, these modes will shake you to the core. You won't believe that not a single syth was used in any of these recordings, what imagery! Enjoy! You will not be disappointed.
