Where do I start? This is such an amazing album ! I cannot begin to describe to you how wonderful and blessed this album is. This is by far a relief from the CD United Live: Best friend as that one was echoey and terribly produced, this one is a gem compared to anything I have ever heard before. The arrangements, the musicality, the lyrics, the tunes, all awesome ! If you don't want to hear about each song and go buy it, by all means do so. It is well worth your money.
1. King Of Majesty (title track)- One of Marty Sampson's best songs ever ! Creative, fun, and funky. This song will be on the new live worship album by Hillsong Music "Blessed" which will be released this July. Too bad this recording didn't include the go go's. On the to be released CD they did the chorus like so: Jesus You are the saviour of my soul, go,go,go,go,go,go and forever and ever I'll give my praises to You. This song is a great declaration as far as the lyrics go as well. That is quite a statement to say that these words are from my heart and that they are "not made up". Overall, 5 of 5 stars.
Most High- WOW ! Wow ! and more wow ! This song is an awesome, glorious, wonderful, stupendous praise song for any one of any age and any country. I would be suprised if Korea wasn't singing this song already in Korean. The words are simply beautiful (as all of Reuben Morgan's lyrics are) and the melody, arrangement, and vocals are excellent. It is nice to hear Reuben finally leading a song. One trillion of 5 stars ! Also on Blessed.
3. Everything To Me- After the 6 minute 12 second Most High, this song seems useless. It is not very well crafted, sounds identical to My Best Friend and has no new material we've never covered before. Skip this song ! 2 of 5 stars. 4:12
4. Your Spirit- We're back again to UL land. A beautiful prayer asking the Lord to pour out his spirit on us. This song would fall under mid-tempo, therefore the tempo falls around 96 per beat. I would like to hear more from Luke Munns as a writer (he's pretty obvious as a virtuoustic drummer). Awesome song. 5 of 5 stars. 5:18
5. I Adore- This song is a gem. A beautiful, awesome...well you get the picture. 10,000 of 5 stars. 4:25 also on Blessed
