Wow 2000, a 30-song collection by contemporary Christian music's top artists, is the pick of the litter thus far. Since 1996, the Wow series has wooed and won a large youth-oriented audience, with each of the yearly discs going platinum in exponentially rapid time. Strongly committed to youth issues and preserving family safety and harmony, Wow products contribute a sales percentage to charity and Wow 2000's share goes toward four antiviolence organizations. Additionally, this year's discs are encoded with software that provides Internet access while screening out objectionable content. As for the music, Moms and Dads will have no quibbles. On the purple disc, Third Day and Caedmon's Call deliver country-inflected delights, tunes from Jennifer Knapp and Plumb beg for repeat plays, while Audio Adrenaline and the O.C. Supertones pump things up. Some outstanding tracks. . ........2002-02-11

Some of the songs on these two CD's were GREAT, but some did not appeal to me (this is just MY opinion). My favorite songs are "I Want to Know You (In the Secret)," "Stranded," "Show You Love," "Can't Live A Day," and "Friend of Mine (Columbine)". Another good song is "Waiting Room". I recommend this CD to anyone who likes good Contemporary Christian music.

Another nice WOW album........2002-01-20

This has some really good songs on it. If you're like me and don't want to buy albums, and just get a bunch of the most popular songs for the year, then I highly recommend it.

Great! Amazing! WOW!!.......2001-04-26

The WOW selection of Christian CDs is amazing. They have compiled CDs full of the best of today's contemporary Christian artists, and have done it successfully. With WOW 2000, you get a little bit of everything. From my personal favorite, dc Talk, to Chris Rice, to Third Day, Jaci Velasquez, Audio Adrenaline, Jars Of Clay, Michael W. Smith, etc. This list goes on and on. There is even a song by The W's from the show VeggieTales called 'The Rumor Weed Song' which is obviously geared toward little children but is great for people of all ages. The WOW collections have amazed millions of adults, teens, and children all across America. You can not go wrong by buying these collections. The songs are very spiritual and uplifting and are great for anyone who is trying to start a Christian music collection or for someone who is adding to their collection. I highly recommend this CD. If you enjoy this one, try the other WOW Christian compilations. Buy this one right away, you will love it forever!

This was my first christian c.d. I am really glad i bought it because its such a wide variety of bands it helps you to know what bands you like. This is especially helpful if you are just starting out a christian music collection. N-E ways the songs are really good and there is one for every mood your in. Don't let the price scare you cause you get a ton of great music, and remember it is two c.d's. So be sure to consider this and at least put it on your wish list

Very impressive collection.......2001-01-16

This was the first Christian CD that I got, and it was a great choice. I recomend this CD to anyone starting of a Christian CD collection or as just an addition.

My favorate.......2001-07-28

The 2000 Wow Gospel cd seems to be my favorate of the series. I have been blessed -richly by the album. It has been my morning devotional cd almost every day since it was released.

Spiritually Uplifting.......2000-04-16

All I can say is that this is a spiritually uplifting CD. I may end up buying a second one to keep, as within the one week period I have owned it, I have played it so much -- play it to sleep everynight. A real blessing! You need to listen to the CD to understand the High Praise.

This cd set has every conseiveable kind of varaition on gospel music. From the quiet and calm "Who do you love" to the spritual uplifting, "Oh Happy Day" I was instantly pleased with the amount of variety on the cd. Would recommend it to anyone whom wants or needs a soul moving, foot tapping, spritual uplifting kind of music.

Verity Records has put together a outstanding collection of the Year's Top 30 Gospel Artists and Songs. We do think they forgot to add Our main man Kirk Franklin,but that okay because this Cd has really been a Blessing to us. We recommend this CD to all you people who loves gospel music for what it stand for which is telling the good news about our Lord and Savior.

Powerful & Soulful.......2000-03-02

Awesome-this 2cd set has something for everyone. It has worship songs, gospel hip-hop by Fred Hammond and Powerful uplifting songs by favorites like Dottie Peoples. I purchased this CD prior to having heart surgery & I've been listening to it every day! Richard Smallwood's "Healing" - is just what the Doctor ordered.
