I echo everything reviewer #1said !! I still listen to The Vigil a lot. It is one of my most cherished records. Any fan of medieval music will love this CD !! I wish Kemper would record more.

This CD is wonderful! I have been a Kemper Crabb fan ever since I heard The Vigil years ago. BUT, all I ever knew of him was The Vigil. I ran across this CD on the internet a year ago and was thrilled. It contains some songs from The Vigil. If you like this CD, you'll also like Kemper Crabb's Christmas CD -- A Medieval Christmas. I listen to it year round.
