This is when Fred was doing some of the best music I feel was being recorded at that time. All other artist were trying bacically the same music styles to get air play and sales. Fred really relyed on his inner talent through his music to sell his product. If you listen to this album, you would probably think you r listening to the best of the eighties, it just that good. So If you want some good music that was recorded years ago but sounds like it was just released on tuesday, buy this album and I guarrentee not warranty you'll love it.

It was a blessing to be reaquainted with this wonderful,work of music. I am going to buy it again in CD form. It brings me back to my early days as a Christian. Fred Hammond still uses the word to minister to us!

Hey, what can I say? This is one of his earliest and it is GREAT! He was great with Commissioned and he's great on his own! And I just happen to be lucky enough to be his neighbor!! His songs keep me on the right track; one Fred Hammond CD in the car will get you THROUGH!!! This one ROCKS!! Praise God for artists that don't compromise their God given talent for a temporary shot at the "world."

Just got it yesterday. Completed my Fred Hammond collection. This is a great CD. We get to hear the young, starting off Fred Hammond. All songs are great. I really like "Mender Of Broken Hearts" and "Go." A great beginning to a legend.

This album is so good that this is my third time buying it. Fred Hammond already let us know that he could play the bass on the various Commissioned albums (which I love!!) He took it over the top on this one. I am Persuaded is the bomb with so many bass ridiculous licks that I can hardly take it. Im Not Afraid is so moving that I am almost compelled to tears every time I hear it. Thanks Fred, this album was it!!!!!!!!
