OK......now I shoulda done this a long time ago..but I'm catching up......I'm not a fan of anyone...but I'm the kinda person that can appreciate someone else's work...I really appreciate the work of Donald Lawrence over the years...and this project doesn't disaapoint me a bit....Donald is a expertise...kidd knows his stuff....and it shows on "God's Favor"....the power of K3 ( Karen Clark-Sheard...Kim Burrell, and Kelly Price) is just mind blowing..his music is very prophetic and speaks life "lol" into the listener...."Never Seen the Righteous" is the choir jam.....because I know ..i've never seen it....."When the saints go to worship" .. is a very descriptive song that shows the new comers...sinners...saints...what happens when the SAINTS GO TO WORSHIP....this is a powerFul song...."Best Thing that Ever Happen to me" is crazy...although i didn't like it when I first heard it.....last night...i was like crunk...cranked..and everthing else...as a matter of fact I want to teach it in a workshop soon...crazy beats and infectious lyrics. "Superman" is apparently a song that Donald recorded with another group back in the early 90's ( if anyone has any other D.Lawrence recordings let me know e_roc_0786@yahoo.com)...it puts the trio back in the forefront (donald lawrence, Arnetta Murril-Crooms, and Lejune Thompson)......nice lyrics....tight background. "Love the Hurt Away" introduces the Murrills....nice track and Mrs Murrill-Crooms has these sick al-libs...you can tell when someone has overcome and is still overcoming...she really beckoned for the spirit of GOD to come love the hurt away..."senor, Yo Besso Tu Presencia" is a wonderful effort to reach out to another culture...Sheri Jones has also joined the Tri-City roster now...and provides BGV on this song....I'm glad we don't have to be selfish..but we can share the gospel even through another language.... "Uzziah"..is the reason I am not a fan of any one...Like I stated before...I support other musicians and appreciate their works...but I'm not a fan of anyone but the LORD JESUS CHRIST....cause if you love anybody or anything more than you love JESUS...you can rest assure...you can rest assure you have the spirit of Uzziah....HOT TRACK...and again we are reaching out to other cultures...with beats.."And Yet Im Still Saved" with soloist Robin Rowe-Stewart...(God bless her soul)....a very familiar soloist...and strong soprano....and yet..im still saved...AND I'm going on....very encouraging lyrics...."Let the Lord Minister to ya" introduces us to Shyla Byrd (I think that's her name...but she is the solo for Bless me[prayer of jabez])...I found this track when I was at a point in my life...that i need to be ministered to...and this track was an assist to the word of God...it's has and still is helping me get over.....So gon head....don't be scared..click "Add to cart" and be blessed.

In my opinion this is the best gospel album that i've ever heard. The songs are amazing, the voices are truly given by God, its just an amazing album.
Up There with Kirk.......2002-06-15
For all of those who like Kirk Franklin, you'll cerainly like this CD led by frontman Donald Lawrence. NEVER SEEN THE RIGHTEOUS SUPERMAN and others just takes one breath away as well as puts one in the spirit of worship and praise to the one and only Saviour-GOD. This CD is very good!!

My favorite selections are "When the Saints...", "Lord I kiss Your Presence", and Let the Lord minister to ya'. The lyrics really minister to me and I have shared them with others. God's Word is so precious and HE deserves all the HONOR,all the GLORY and all the PRAISE.

I had waited a long time for this CD to be released. It is truly a blessing from beginning to end. It possess the real live praise and worship of the 21st century! It spoke to me the moment I began listening, especially "God's Favor" and "Let the Lord minister to ya". I had an opportunity to hear him minister at the University of Pittsburgh a few months ago and he and the choir ministered under a powerful annointing from God. It's a guarntee that David Lawerence and Tri-City are headed in the right direction in ministry. If you haven't gotten it, it's a must have!!!!
