I listened to this CD at her concert and it is so good. If you wan to get in the Christmas mood, this is the CD for you. It is jazzy and fun. I love it. I would recomend it to anyone!

This album is a credit to her brilliant talent and ability offer a project that is at once casual and profound. Enjoy it with the fire on!

Crystal Lewis is one of those singers who can do no wrong when it comes to trying different styles and being completly artistic in her approach to music. This has been proved right on her last four albums and she still is releasing amazing material. Her new Christmas release "Holiday!" is truly a gift. Crystal posseses a unique and incredibly beautiful voice that I am always amazed by. It took Lewis only three days to record this entire album, and that shows me true musicianship and artistic brilliance. The Lord has really blessed her and the musicians whom she works with. This album is a peice of musical heaven here on earth.

An amazing album! Crystal sings all the good Christmas songs on this one. But she takes a little different aproach this time. She sounds a lot like Ella Fitzgerald, giving this fantastic album a great jazz sound. And her three piece backup band does an excellent job. I would buy this album for everyone I knew, if I could afford it.

I have ten different collections of Christmas carols. This collection is easily the best. I prefer the versions of carols on this CD to almost all other recordings in my collection. The British orchestras and choirs represented on this CD offer powerful versions of the standard carols. This CD's versions of "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing," "O Come All Ye Faithful," and "The First Nowell" are beyond comparison.

The Blenders have hit all the right notes. Every time I have played the CD "When It Snows" my friends have wanted to go out and buy the CD for themselves, AND they want to buy a CD for all of thier friends.

If you enjoy listening to ridiculously tight harmonies, and a splash of hip hop every once in awhile, you'll love this CD. A few carols are sung quite traditionally, others are punched up nicely, many are a cappella, many have a pleasant musical accompaniment.

It will make a nice addition to your Christmas music collection!

I have to admit that I'm NOT a big fan of Christmas albums. But, these guys give it an extra upbeat kick. And their voices do, uh, blend (sorry, had to say it) so well. Had me tapping my feet and singing along the first time I heard it. Very proud of these guys who grew up where I did.

When It Snows is a MUST HAVE for your collection! Filled with The Blenders incredible arrangements and harmonies, this CD will make you laugh, cry, and sigh with utter contentment. If you love NOG you will love this CD as well, it is every bit as good and (if my kids' reactions are any indication)even more fun. If you don't own NOG yet, you are totally missing out, you need to buy both of them right away! As an avid collector of Christmas music (a cappella and otherwise) I can assure you, it just doesn't get any better than this!!!

What a relief to add a new CD to my Blenders collection! I have enjoyed these guys since the beginning back in Fargo, North Dakota. Their music seems to get better and better! I especially enjoyed the peppy re-mix versions of some old Christmas classics. This CD will make a nice addition to anyone's holiday collection, whether they are a Blenders fan or not.

Ok, yeah, wow, can't believe I'm the first to review this. This is one of the BEST Christmas albums I've ever heard. See, it's weird cuz it's not like normal Crystal Lewis stuff. She took her voice which is SOOO jazzy anyway, nice bluesy quality, complete with odd vowel-sounds and everything, then she took herself, an AMAZING pianist/arranger (I think his name is Alan Pasqua, or somesuch), a great jazz drummer, and a great bassist (along with some others guest musicians here and there) and they went out west in the summer and cut this disc. But see, they did it the old-school way: live in the studio, recorded in one or two takes. And it really is evident, THIS ALBUM FEELS OLD. I mean that in the best way possible. This isn't pop-star croons christmas. This is like taking a trip back to the heyday of jazz, but with EXCELLENT sound quality and music theory that's just brilliant. Much more sound theory-wise than her "attack of the screamin' rays" swing project. It's fun enough and beautiful enough to win the masses, yet technically sound enough to stand up against the most brutal jazz musician's critique. Enjoy!

If there is only one Christmas CD you listen to for the entire season, it would have to be this one. There's not a dull track on it. From the sultry tones of Ella Fitzgerald on "The Christmas Song" to the wicked backbeat and insane harmonies of Raze's "What Child is This?" and the uproarious tuba rendition of "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen," you simply must put this disc in your player, hit "repeat all" and just listen all month long. A must-have for any Christmas music lover!
