Bill Gaither probably had no idea what he was starting when he did his first Homecoming. Since then they've become an institution. In this latest volume in the series, he's put out one that's sure to become a classic. The songs range from a must-have arrangement of "When the Saints Go Marching In" to the bluegrass/country "Goin' Away Party" to the gospel sound of "I Thank You, Lord." "Precious Lord" is both haunting and emotional. The two highlights of the album to me are "Through The Fire" with the Crabb family (Jason Crabb sounds like a young Russ Taff) and "Go Rest High On The Mountain", written by Vince Gill. This album is a must have, especially for one who has recently lost a loved one, since several songs deal with meeting the Lord.
