I have all of Sandi's CD's and this ranks in the top three. No other singer has ever moved me in such a way as Sandi. "How Great Thou Art" and "Amazing Grace" are this CD's finest songs, as well as "A Mighty Fortress Medley." In "A Mighty Fortress," Sandi's vocal abiltities lends itself remarkably to the contrasting song arrangements of "Mighty Fortess" and "Victory in Jesus." She's awesome.

this is a great cd, this was the first Sandi Patti songs i had ever heard. my friend and gone on and on about sandi patti and i just said sandi who? she sent me the cassette for christmas a few years ago and it was wonderful. i loved it and i try to get all of sandy's cds now. i lost my cassette and will get the cd this time. im so glad amazon has it.

Does anyone have the track of How Great Thou Art?.......1999-02-03

Does anyone know where I could obtain the sound track for the How Great Thou Art that Sandi Patti used in this recording. I am told that it is out of print. Perhaps someone has a copy that I would be happy to purchase. It is the most ispiring arrangement I have ever heard of this beloved hymn and would like to have it in my library.

If you like the inspirational songs of Sandi Patty, the orchestrations of David Clydesdale, and almost every popular traditional Reformed Protestant church hymn sung in the 1980's, this is the album for you. The highlight is "How Great Thou Art" with the brilliant vocal acrobatics but the tenderness of "In the Garden" and "Sweet Hour of Prayer" linger in the memory. A song collection for meditation as well as inspiration.

As the title suggests, this one is jazz and excellent jazz it is too. Jack Jezzro, Brentwood Jazz Quartet and Sam Levine manage to create a faultlessly smooth MOR jazz sound that is easy on the ears. Top musicianship (though the sleeve doesn't give a clue as to who is responsible for individual tracks) and imaginative arrangements to these famous tunes. "Amazing Grace" is outstanding though my favourite is "We've A Story To Tell The Nations" with its fluid piano and acoustic bass solo. Nice! This is the mellow melodic jazz for relaxation with familiar tunes wafting by in new incarnations. Occasionally it does wander off into bland lift music territory but then, if you've had a hard day this would be the perfect soundtrack to a glass of wine by the fire!
