Radio Gospel Favorites, a true Favorite.......2003-10-26
This is one of my favorite albums by the Statlers. "Blessed Be" is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. All the songs are very upbeat and have a great message. It is truly the Statlers at their best.

These are great songs, even if you don't like country music. The Statler Brothers sing in perfect four-part harmony, and they put fun in their message. This is sing-along and feel good music. If you play guitar, these songs are nearly all simple to learn.

These guys have a wonderful harmony. I had never heard "One Size Fits All" before and it's great. If you like the Southern Gospel style, you'll love this CD!

No one conveyed the inherent conflict between the secular and spiritual worlds more articulately than Ira and Charlie Louvin. It makes sense, then, that the Country Music Foundation would separate the gospels from the seculars on this record rather than sequence it chronologically. Ten of the 14 cuts are taken from Opry's "Prince Albert Show" (in front of a thrilled audience), while the remaining four come from a 1951 date for Danville, Virginia's WDVA radio. All of them feature the purest of harmonies, and whether celebratory or cautionary, they're always compelling and watertight. --Marc Greilsamer

I love this CD because, I love the Louvin Brother's.......1999-08-02
I love the clarity, you can actually understand what they are singing. I love the style and the wonderful way they sing. Especially Gospel songs. They put such feeling in their songs that you can relate to most of them. I can listen to them sing by the hour.
