    VOD is one of my favorite bands, they helped open up a whole new genre of music to me. I was very happy to hear that "Still" was being re-released with bonus tracks, it's just too good of a disc to just remain out of print. This is VOD in the beginning before getting signed to the major label Roadrunner. Many people consider this to be VOD's best work and it's hard to argue with them. I can only imagine the reaction from fans of the hardcore scene when the demo was first released.

    This is VOD's original recordings, after their demos and before their debut on Roadrunner (the "drop" album). The only real flaw with this disc is I would've loved to have seen them throw on more tracks like "7/13", "Formula For Failure" and "Suffer". Again, these are different recordings: they're much more raw and hardcore than the later versions of these songs. If you don't have this, trust someone who was there when they first came on the scene, I've seen them countless times through the years and this is their absolute best.

    I have seen VOD play several times...and let me tell you, if you ever see one band play...make it them. The emotion is so strong, the music so loud, and the lyrics so salty. this is their first major release and it is a great one to start off with. If you are a VOD fan, or just a fan of good hard, in your face hardcore from the edge, then you have to pick this up. You will not be dissappointed. Also check out Starkweather...another great hard band that any hardcore fan is sure to love. YOU SHOULD BUY EVERY VOD CD...June 26th--From Bliss to Devastation...don't miss it!

        This album is very up lifting, you can feel the anoitning when playing the 1st or 2nd album. I have personally been to a uneek concert and hearing them live is like being in heaven(oh what a beautiful sound). I have also had the chance to meet these girls and they are beauitful and hummble because they know they have a gift. I really wish they could have made one more album before going on to other things.....but once-in-a while Rochester, NY gets to hear them and oh boy.

        This is a wonderful album and a very fitting follow up to Uneek's JUST AS I AM CD, released in 1994. This album is annointed by God and will certainly usher you into His presence. The title cut is one of my facorites and I'm sure it will be yours too. This CD is the perfect gift for any occasion and will be enjoyed by anyone.

        NECK is seriously better then any HC band you'll probly ever hear. AND NO ONE CREDITS THEM FOR IT! Their hardly on a label anymore. But with their mix of near death metal grunts and soaring melody should land them on relapse records with the likes of the dillinger escape plan, amorphis, nasum, and mastodon. but it won't. BUY THIS and Should My Fist Eye, their other album and help em out!

        this is an incredible release by a great band out of Astoria,NY. however, this is the original line-up of Neck. unfortunately, Greg (guitarist), and Jonathan (bassist), are no longer in the band. Mike (singer) is now playing guitar making them a trio, and they've gone through a long sucession of temporary bass players over the past few years. but this CD is Neck at their best, and most raw. imagine a cross between Deftones, Voivod, and Vision Of Disorder, with the sickest lyrics you've ever heard in your entire life, and you have somewhat of an idea what this disc sounds like. I was in a band up until about 5 years ago and back then, we were lucky enough to play some shows with Neck in the Philadelphia and Scranton area in the late 90's. let me tell you, if you think this disc is insane, they were even crazier live. they are definitely pro-material but unfortunately, they don't have the best of luck scoring record deals. come on, Roadrunner! Relapse! you labels are really missing out!

        This was neck's first album similar to Should my Fist Eye but a little darker. The songs are great and that old version of three crosses rules. The music is a great mix. Hardcore breakdowns into soft vocals and guitar. This cd is great for any mood you're in. Neck as a band are very talented and i can't believe they haven't signed to a big label.
