Once you have heard Damaris Carbaugh sing, you will never forget it. Her voice is a unique gift from God which she chooses to use to praise Him. In this CD she does just that, whether in the contemplative "He's Been Faithful" or the more upbeat "Is There Anything too Hard for the Lord?". She gives testimony in between her songs, and her spoken words are as powerful as the words she sings. For encouragement, or an inspiring listening experience, this CD is highly recommended!

This is a truly fantastic cd. The songs are so very moving, and Ms Carbaugh's voice and spirit is most exceptional. When she sings "In The Presence of Jehovah," I just feel like I am there in His presence. This is a powerful song and an exceptional cd that expresses the love and holiness of Jesus Christ in an extraordinary way. If I were on an island (with a cd player) and could only have one cd THIS would be the one I'd want. You will be blessed listening to it.

5 out of 5 stars This CD Gives an Accurate "Feeling" of One of Her Concerts.......2001-02-21

I had the pleasure of attending Damaris Carbaugh's concert on February 18 at my church, and this CD recreates that experience.

Ms. Carbaugh is a committed Christian, who gives a running commentary on Jesus Christ's influence in her life between her songs.

Every song on this CD is special, but "He Has Forgiven Me" and "I Am Not Ashamed of the Gospel" are great and had the audience at the concert in tears. When asked to give a benediction after her last song, our rector had to stop time and again to regain his composure.

If you love Gospel and Christian music and if you love a tremendous mezzo soprano singer, buy this CD. You will not be disappointed!
