when I was a young and immature lad, I liked this kind of music. Now that I am somewhat musically advanced, whenever I hear this kind of brainless metal, I feel sick. The only reason it gets an extra star is because of the (although sometimes indiscernable) Christian lyrics. I still like the melodic metal of Metallica better, and I still listen to their music once in a while.

This Cd offers any and all types of melodies for the metal head!
It jacks you up and takes you on a ride that some have never been.
From the ground shaking drumming By Jason to the dancing strings of Blake's guitar you won't be disappointed.
Then you get knocked out by the slow rythyms of Matt's Bass and Rons voice just takes you to a higher ground.
The songs get straight to the heart of the matter Like Divided and Struggle Then there is everyones favorite Chopping Block.
This is the best kept secret in the metal industry buy it blow out your speakers.

Really, these guys are the real deal. I used to listen to secular music before I commited my life to Christ. I listened to Pantera, Metallica, Skid Row, Flotsam & Jetsam, Suicidial Tendencies....anything heavy. These guys put them all under their foot. I am not saying this just because these guys are Christians and I feel I need to support them, this album smokes. The vocals remind me of old Metallica mixed with some Pantera, The Gutiar playing is awesome, these guys are truly the best metal band I have ever heard...secular or not. Well, they are tied with Disciple,(check out Disciples "BY GOD"), and that is a compliment. Power and groove, and best of all the message is real, heartfelt and powerful. These guys aren't ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is most important thing.

This is the best metal that I have heard in a long time! Best of all, it is Christian! This album destroys the stereotype of the Christian artist not being up to snuff-pure professional is a good way to describe it. Well worth checking out, and I recommend it to fans of Megadeth, Metallica, and Anthrax.

Let me say I was really impressed by these guys. I first heard them at a concert in Indianapolis, which is where I live and where they come from. Most of the songs on this cd are really good, although there were a few weird ones, like "Top Ten". Basically, I really liked this CD and I liked the lyrics. They are very moving and "I Your Boy" was very powerful for me.
