Susan Ashton has been a leading light in the contemporary Christian music scene since her award-winning self-titled album was released in 1993; Closer is the adult contemporary vocalist's attempt at a country crossover hit. The Christian music community that once supported Ashton has typically shown disdain for artists who leave its cozy environs for the secular pop world, but fans of tasteful mainstream country will find much to like on Closer. Ashton has an admirable vocal range, an expressive gift for phrasing, and good taste when it comes to production (check the subtle cello-six-string intro to "Shot for the Moon" and the chiming 12-string guitars on "Come Out of the Rain.") When she tries to rock out, however ("Breathless"), or get bluesy ("Supernatural") the result is no more appealing than cereal-commercial music. Ashton is the spiritual and artistic progeny of the Boone clan, and her music is best when soft, slow, and sweet. Anything else is like white bread passing itself off as multigrain. --Mike McGonigal --This text refers to the Audio CD edition.

Thanks to a fortuitous intersection of talent and fate, 22-year-old Josh Groban hasn't finished his senior year in performing arts school but has already released his sophomore effort on a major major label. Fans of the young vocal phenom's debut will find much to enthrall them here, even if it nudges the singer closer to the center of producer/mentor David Foster's MOR pop sensibilities. Eschewing much of its predecessor's more overt classic-lite pretensions and pop-rock covers for a slate of dramatic, Eurocentric ballads that serve as a showcase for the singer's inviting baritone, Groban shrewdly positions himself as the American alternative to the Bocelli-Watson crossover axis. "Caruso" may find the singer falling short of its operatic inspiration, but "Oceano" and "My Confession" quickly showcase his true dramatic range (which seems to all but yearn for a bona fide Broadway musical challenge), while a vocal take of Bacalov's graceful "Il Postino" theme uses classical virtuoso Joshua Bell's violin flourishes to good effect. To his credit, Groban displays some promising efforts at songwriting collaboration on the bittersweet "Per Te" and "Remember When It Rains," while the ambient/ethnic soundscape of Deep Forest's "Never Let Go" offers a teasing alternative to the record's otherwise melodramatic production formula. Groban has found commercial triumph via Foster's mentoring, but there remains a nagging sense here that he hasn't truly pushed himself as an artist--yet. --Jerry McCulley

An outstanding follow-up to her debut album, Learning How To Fly. Inga's voice is smooth and accurate while at the same time retaining a sense of intimacy and warmth.

A great album of great songs. Inga sings with feeling and is ably supported by the Bill Peterson Trio. 'Black Crow' and 'Just in Time' are exceptional tracks, but then the whole album is superb. Excellent.

Jay & The Americans: COME A LITTLE BIT CLOSER; THE BESTO OF JAY & THE AMERICANS.......2007-05-29
I have been in love with this wonderful band's mellow, yet moving sound since 1964, at least. Come A Little Bit Closer pulled me into their wonderous sound, but the song that digs deep into my soul is Cara Mia and of course, This Magic Moment, but my love doesn't stop there...Let's Lock The Door still moves me to dance and sing out. I could go on and on, but
I think that Jay and the Americans is one of the greatest bands, greatest sounds, that ever came out of my generations musical moments.
I'm not a groupy who can tell you their names, recognize their faces, but the distinctive voice of the singer who sings Cara Mia still rocks my world!
If you are a Jay & The Americans fan...this album brings together most of their finest songs, the best music to carry you back down memory lane, and help you remember how romantic and yet playful a male singing voice can be. The only thing I can think of that it is missing is the song, Look In My Eyes Maria...but it even has the old H.I.S. pants commercial on it! Quite a memorable album.
Jay at his all time best........2007-01-10
If you want to relive your days in the 60' use this CD to bring back old memories of what you were up to then. Fantastic, even better than before enhanced by CD quality.
Jay & The Americans CD.......2007-01-05
I loved it. This is something I have been looking for a long time. It is Great.
ALL THE HITS & MORE.......2006-07-05
A DEFINITIVE COLLECTION FOR THE GROUP. SOME OF THE 'B" SONGS ARE
REMINDERS FOR THE NOTION THAT SUCH A SINGULAR VOICE AS JAYS CAN BE RIGHT ON WITH SOME MELODIES YET A BAD CHOICE WITH OTHERS..OVERALL A FINE COLLECTION.
After Twenty + Years; I Finally found It !.......2005-10-09
I can't put into words on how fantastic I think several of these songs on this CD are but I'll try; so here goes !..........Jay And The Americans, was another very good 60s band that definitely left their mark in music history. To me; their vocal harmony's rank up there with the likes of, The Vogues, and, The Everly Brothers, and are one of the best in ANY era. As stated in some of the other reviews about this group; there were two different lead vocalists for the band (One replaced the other) but both are excellent. I owned several of, Jay And The American's, songs on Vinyl or Tape in the 60s & 70s but over time I wore them out so to attempt to remedy that problem I purchased a rare cassette of this Band in the 80s and I was very disappointed with it because in comparison to my previous compilations; the sound quality was terrible. For the longest time I was very tentative about purchasing another compilation by this Band even when I could find one ( which was hardly ever ) but the internet made it possible to find the quality I was looking for and roughly twenty years after purchasing that cassette I purchased this Disc from Amazon and; rest assured; the sound quality on this CD is AWESOME and the songs sound the way I remember them.
Most people my age will remember this great band and their material however if you like this style of music and decide to purchase this CD not being familiar with their songs; play either the lovely, Hushabye, or the beautiful classic, This Magic Moment, first;.....and I'll practically guarantee that you will fall in love with this CD very quickly and that is just the beginning. The beautiful tunes, Walkin' In The Rain, Crying, and, She Cried, are of equal brilliance along with, Come A Little Bit Closer, Cara Mia, and, Let's Lock The Door ( And Throw Away The Key ), and there is much more. I think this is one of the better CDs I own and I own plenty of them. If I had to sum up this collection in one word it would be.....Thrilling !
Final Note: I hope this review is helpful to you because it was the reviews here at Amazon that was very helpful to me and I have finally found the, Jay And The Americans, compilation I was looking for and I have to say that it's about time.... This Band ( And This CD ) are Phenomenal !

I have the original album, purchased when I was a teen, and the comparison is incredibly fresh and crisp, not to mention the addition of the extra live tracks. This was on my Christmas wish list and I'm so thankful for the gift as every track is a treasure. I highly recommend it.

was and always will be a band to be remembered!
GRAND FUNK RAILROAD ROCKS OUT CLOSER TO HOME. .......2007-02-28
I will be writing a review on the legendary album entitled "CLOSER TO HOME"by one of Rock's greatest bands and one of America's favorite sons. I give you Flint, Michigan's own GRAND FUNK RAILROAD. "CLOSER TO HOME" was originally released in 1970 on Vinyl/LP and 8-Track on the Capitol Records label. As always, if I hear any new additional information concerning this legendary album or the artist, I will edit this review immediately so that you the consumer will get the best informative and most accurate review possible.
By this time, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD was making Rock n' Roll history and was quickly gaining a reputation for being one of the loudest Rock bands in the world considering that the band only consists of three band members. Also by this time, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD would soon be compared to another legendary three-man band, the great CREAM. In reality, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD IS TRULY FOR REAL AND KNOW HOW TO PLAY THEIR ROCK N' ROLL. The band was hot and on fire with their popularity growing non-stop. With everything on a very positive note, it would be the perfect time for GRAND FUNK RAILROAD, or should I say, guitarist Mark Farner, drummer Don Brewer and bassist Mel Schacher to head back into the recording studio and record their new follow-up album. It would also be on this new follow-up album that GRAND FUNK RAILROAD would record one of their greatest hits ever and one of the greatest Rock anthems in Rock n' Roll history. The song is "I'm Your Captain. With time already flown by, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD would evolve from the studio with a new completed album and hand it in to Capitol Records. The result was the legendary album "CLOSER TO HOME." In my opinion, "CLOSER TO HOME" is a true testament of the creative genius' of three extremely talented individuals and a great tribute to a band that was changing Rock n' Roll forever with a new sound. Without a doubt, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD will always be remembered as the band that was truly ahead of their time.
Now its time to review the killer Rock n' Roll on this legendary album. If you want to hear some real Rockers, listen to the songs such as the classic slow Rocker "Sin's A Good Man's Brother," the breathtaking "Aimless Lady," the blistering killer Rocker "Nothing Is The Same," the funkish and soulful "I Don't Have To Sing The Blues," the slow bluesy Rocker "Hooked On Love" and the blistering groundbreaking Rocker "I'm Your Captain."
There are only two slow Rockers on the album and are the songs such as the slow paced turned fast paced Rocker "Mean Mistreater" and the slow/fast Rocker with a good beat "Get It Together." Farner really sets new ground with new riffs and new guitar arrangements and techniques that would forever revolutionize the way the guitar would be played. Brewer would also break new ground as a drummer and would demonstrate how vital perfect timekeeping has to be in order to create the ultimate Rock n' Roll sound. Schacher would also break new ground as a bassist and would demonstrate the importance of getting the perfect sound and beat out of his bass. Combine all three of these elements together and you will have some of the greatest sounding Rock n' Roll ever.
Overall, "CLOSER TO HOME" is one hell of an album that KICKS A*S.
I would like to highly recommend purchasing this legendary album to own as a valuable and important part of his or her own personal music collection. This legendary album without a doubt has already proven to stand the test of time and will always be around to be enjoyed, appreciated and cherished for many years to come, NOW AND FOREVER.
In closing, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD will forever always be "the people's band." In reality, the GRAND FUNK RAILROAD legend does not even come close to ending here despite all the tribulations and tragedies that should have killed the band, buried and laid to rest. But it didn't. But most importantly, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD is the story of survival and perseverence. According to the MTV series BEHIND THE MUSIC, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD will forever always be remembered in Rock n' Roll history for two historic moments. The first, in 1971, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD became the first Rock band to sell out Shea Stadium quicker than THE BEATLES did in 1965 and even drew a larger audience attendance than THE BEATLES did in 1965. Second, also in 1971, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD will forever go down in Rock n' Roll history as being THE ONLY BAND TO HAVE EVER BLOWN THE MIGHTY LED ZEPPELIN OFF THE STAGE. This rare happening took place in Miami, Florida. GRAND FUNK RAILROAD was chosen to open for the MIGHTY LED ZEPPELIN. The only thing about this is that GRAND FUNK RAILROAD was so hot and on fire that they delivered a blistering set that was so devastating that ZEPPELIN Manager Peter Grant ordered and threatened GRAND FUNK's Manager Terry Knight to get GRAND FUNK RAILROAD off the stage NOW! With the damage already done, LED ZEPPELIN was fearful and even hesitated in following GRAND FUNK RAILROAD. However, LED ZEPPELIN did go on stage and performed but their performance was no where near the blistering performance of GRAND FUNK RAILROAD'S. With all these accomplishments done in such a short period of time, I think it is fair to say that GRAND FUNK RAILROAD has forever left their mark and impact in Rock n' Roll history and will never be forgotten nor denied. With this in mind, there will also be new stories and tales in the GRAND FUNK RAILROAD legend and story that will still need to be conquered, told and written in pages and in new chapter's. But that, my fellow readers and reviewers, you will have to stay tuned and read further about at a later date. So here's to you Mark, Don and Mel. Keep Persevering. Keep The Faith. And as the saying goes, "AND THE REST IS ROCK N' ROLL HISTORY," am I wrong? Thanks for reading my review and I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it for your reading pleasure. I also hope that you will read all of my other reviews in the near future when time permits. GRAND FUNK LIVES. Long Live Rock n' Roll. Rock out always and take it easy. Forever In Rock, John L.
metallurgy.......2006-10-12
'Closer To Home' is one of the finest heavy rock discs ever produced, plain and simple. While much is made of the title track, the album rocks steady from one end to the other, offering a showcase for the many methods to master (and in this case, remaster) metal music:
METAL GOES STOMPING on the opening track, the incisive 'Sin's a Good Man's Brother' ("but is that right....?"). After lulling the listener with a soft acoustic introduction, the first question you'll be asking is: can three guys really generate this many decibels all by themselves?
METAL GOES JOGGING on track two, 'Aimless Lady', with its heavy, loping strides. The testosterone laced lyrics ("if you can stand a real good man, take my hand and understand me, baby") are supported by fine falsetto backing harmony from drummer Don Brewer.
METAL GETS A FUNK GROOVE on 'Nothing Is the Same', complete with a sweet, fuzzy bridge from singer Mark Farner's lead guitar. The songsmith observes how life has changed from when he was 16, to 18, to "just a little bit older", to "future years" and Nothing Is the Same.
METAL BLEEDS A LITTLE on 'Mean Mistreater', which starts out in slow-blues mode, but quickly builds steam into a blazing bridge before collapsing into the bluesy coda.
METALLIC PSYCHEDELIA emerges on 'Get It Together', which is for the most part an organ-driven instrumental, save the mantra-like coda, "got to get it together", delivered by Farner, Brewer, and several soulful ladies in the background.
METAL GOES STRUTTING on 'I Don't Have To Sing the Blues' which is really two songs, two songs mixed into one. A slick lead guitar riff provides the foundation over fat and fuzzy bass lines from Mel Schacher, supporting wicked lyrics such as, "she's my dinner and my Midnight snack... she sets up and she begs and she even rolls over on her back".
METAL GOES POETIC in the coda, wrapping more great lyrics around the "I don't have to sing the blues no more" chorus.
METAL BENDS AND DISTORTS on 'Hooked On Love', where a heavy bass line propels this song through several incarnations, and featuring a torrid bridge from Farner's wah-pedal guitar.
METAL GOES ANTHEMIC on the title track, my favorite part of which is the rich, fuzzy yet smooth lead guitar bridge... but also the early, all too brief wah-pedal. The liner notes talk extensively about the accidental "Alright, stop it" from producer Terry Knight that appears one minute into the track. Although the author of the liner notes, Steve Roeser, makes it sound like the gaffe is hardly noticable, I've always been aware of it. It seems to fit right in with the "Stop it!, Stop it!" that appears in the 'Hey Jude'-ish finish. But just in case you want to REALLY hear it, check out the hidden track following the bonus tracks where the miscue is isolated and amplified for you!
Bonus tracks are always appreciated, but two more versions of 'Mean Mistreater' (one from a concert in Orlando in June of 1970, which isn't appreciably different from the studio take, and the other IS the studio take, with only slight alterations in the finish), don't add much in the first case, and amount to one too many renditions in the other. However, two other tracks from that night in Orlando will put some flash in your CD laser. The first is a nearly twelve minute excursion on 'In Need' from the bands 1970 self-titled disc, and a seven minute-plus rendition of the classic 'Heartbreaker' from 1969's 'On Time' disc. Add to all this a sparkling remastered sound, period photographs and memorabilia, snazzy graphics, detailed track information, and relevant liner notes, and you have what is known in the business as the complete package. 'Closer To Home' is a milestone in rock history right out of my backyard of Flint, Michigan. The soundtrack of your life is incomplete without it.

In retrospect, the second and final album by this Manchester postpunk band seems to point straight at singer Ian Curtis's suicide, which happened a few months before it was released. The band's reverberating mesh of minor-key lines and Curtis's tremorous bass voice are doomy enough on their own, and attention to the words reveals references to blacker-than-black stories by J.G. Ballard and Joseph Conrad; the void and its terrors were splitting Curtis apart from the inside. "I put my trust in you," he sings, and his voice leaves no doubt that that trust has been betrayed. But the music, grim and powerful as it is, points to the direction the surviving members took as New Order, incorporating the mechanical gravity of club rhythms. --Douglas Wolk
Customer Reviews:
4.5/AS GOOD AS 'POST-PUNK' GETS.......2007-06-30
Someone on Amazon said if 'you' don't like this Cd, 'you're' not human. I think that's an atrocious accusation, 'cause this CD is really difficult to get into. The production style is to sound what motor oil is to visual beauty...in other words, the sound is ugly. And the melodies don't make up for it. I figure that's the idea, so, b/c of that one person's ambitious statement about my/'your' lack of humanity, I decided to give this 1 or 2 more listens, just to see what on earth she (or maybe it was a he...) was talking about. Little by little I got more accepting of it. Eventually, I found a small bit of delight in the minimalistic production style and instrumentation, and that small delight grew and one day (today actually...) I found myself jumping for joy when I found this CD LOCALLY(!), for a reasonable price ($12.99+tax). I bought this at Barnes & Noble, which is not my first choice for buying CDS, but I think I might shop there more often, since, as I had known all along, their selection is vastly superior to these other junk CD shops in my home town (Cape Girardeau, MO; about two hours south of St. Louis). My finding of this CD confirms that. Anyhoo, this CD is mainly a mood piece, so it's definitely not a 'must have' for all music lovers and isn't even a must-listen most of the time, unless you're always/'most'ways in a gloomy depressed mood & can tolerate listening to the SAME THING DAY IN AND DAY OUT, but I guess there are quite a few people that are able to do that without boredom for a lot longer than I am. This CD is a small gem in the indie music world (and I mean 'indie' as in non-mainstream, not 'indie' as in owned-by-an-indie-label; sad I have to sepcify that, since the term 'alternative' used to mean exactly what 'indie' means today...). For $12.99 (or less if you live in a city that isn't full of small minded people who don't even have the will to listen to a well rounded selection of music even in the POP arena...), I'd say it was a worthy purchase.
I must say that I DO NOT like the majority of this type of music. I absolutely HATE The Psychedelic Furs' self titled album and the dozen or half dozen or so similiar albums I've heard. This is an exception, although I do plan to purchase UNKNOWN PLEASURES (also by Joy Division) sometime in the next month or two.
Top Ten Albums of All Time.......2007-03-22
"Unknown Pleasures" always get the attention, but Closer is the album that should get it. A masterpiece- haunting, beautiful, desolate.
Frank Mehringer
Resignation achieved.......2007-03-08
I read descriptions like austere, minimalist, dark, and brooding. All are appropos, but I like the word ausdarkminimbrood. Do you think Ian Curtis liked being depressed? I appreciate Ian Curtis's honesty; that is refreshing, but I wish he would have found the light and mixed that with his ample talent. Ian Curtis, although some would disagree, we hardly knew ye. Poor lad.
Dark Stuff.......2007-01-23
Many fans are more partial to the punkier sound on 'Unknown Pleasures,' but I've always been partial to this one. It's difficult to get though because it is so relentless and dark. But it also represents a huge leap forward in Joy Division's songwriting and contains the best of Martin Hannett's atmospheric production. Lyrically, Ian Curtis builds a impressionist portrait of dystopia that may very be existence itself. The band build and sustain an tension on this album that occurs nowhere else in their works, or on any other album ever. Sure, their singles are brilliant, but this a complete work and is the best Joy Division's album the were able to make.
Closure to a legacy.......2007-01-11
"Unknown Pleasures" was Joy Division using a slight punky aggression to convey their emotion of loneliness. That album was angry, pissed even, but on "Closer," this aggression is boiled down to vapidness, a reclusion of emotion, that almost seems like it is crying for help. Truth be told, this is to many singer/songwriter Ian Curtis' suicide note, with songs called: "A Means to an End," "The Eternal," and "Heart and Soul," making that conclusion seem not too far off from the truth. In a way, hearing this, is like a horrifying gunshot when surrounded in absolute darkness, or is as hopeless as a tear in the rain, and what more, it's a fascinating look at a man's battle cry to those who betrayed him, and no matter how morbid it seems, Curtis' heart and soul went into it, and created not just a good album, a great album, or even just a masterpiece, but an emotional ride into the depths of a soul, that is isolated, and ticked off.
"Closer" feels distant and off kilter, there is nothing about this album that is "mainstream." It lacks hooks, melody, and has a sense of restraint. Started with the song, Atrocity Exhibition, with Stephen Morris simple, tap-tap-tap, battle drum, that would go on in the rest of the album, amiss the subtle instrumentals. Aside from the slightly adrenaline-charged seventh song, Twenty-Four Hours, the music is part of an almost psychological deprivation experiment, creating glumness in the listener's heart. On Exhibition, the song makes social comments on survival of the fittest: "In arenas we kill for a prize," sings the somber piece, and earlier this track speaks of society's want to be entertained through others peoples' misfortunes, a sad sentiment indeed.
Before Ian Curtis killed himself, he suffered from epilepsy (something that Curtis sang about in, She's Lost Control, off of "Unknown Pleasures," even before having it himself.) Many also believed that Ian hanged himself due to a broken heart; and this sense of love lost bleeds through "Closer." Every song has a lingering sensation of paradise taken away: in the form of deflated hopes, damaged dreams, and begotten aspirations. The music may often overlap the words, but Curtis' sentiment is clear: he is not taken his depression lightly, as each song is just devoid of compassion, but at the same time is passionate, and reanimated in the musical ingenuities of drummer Morris, guitarist Bernard Albrecht, and bassist Peter Hook.
What else can be said about an album as important and talked about as this one, that has not already been written before, while still doing the album justice; let's just say: hear this, and then get the rest of their catalogue, as it will change how you look at music-- forever. Also, remember this album is how the memory of Curtis will live on, through our very belief in its power, him, life, and the affect of love. As "Closer" is possibly the most heartbreaking album of human emotion ever made, and in that way, it is the best music ever recorded. Period.

Do the math, this value-laden piece features all of the tracks from BOTH the U.K. singles of 'Closer' all on one disc for just $1 more than buying one of our regularly priced import CD singles ($7.99)! 'Closer' is off the 1994 album 'The Downward Spiral'. Excellent Remix Album.......2007-06-15
What can I say? Incredible song w/ great remixes. Trent Reznor rarely disappoints. March of the *uck Heads is a cool drum instrumental type thingy aswell. I mean come on. How can you not like a song with the title "March of the *uckheads"? If you enjoy NIN, buy this.
Excellent .......2007-05-14
One of the better single/EP releases from NIN (which are, to be honest, usually only a matter of concern for NIN fans looking to "collect them all"), Closer to God has some excellent remixes of Closer as well as the original song. I particularly recommend Closer (Precusor) (which was used in the opening credits to the movie Se7en) as well as the title track Closer to God, which isn't so much a remix as a re-imagining, and in that respect worth considering as a song it its own right.
Really a CD worth owning if you're a fan of NIN or just the song.
Hard to find in stores.......2007-02-13
I looked at 5 different stores before I decided to check on line. I had it in 4 days. Sooooo much easier than going to the store.

It's really hard to point a finger at Slightly Stoopids best cd....they're all so damn good! CLOSER TO THE SUN really blew me away though and if you're in the mood to kick back and hang out with some friends (especially over the summer) this is the most chill cd to listen to. Breath of Fresh Air.......2006-07-11
I remember hearing the single Closr on the radio and I was like oh ok. This is a very good CD from beginning to end. It's easy listening and smooth. Very good to have in the car. If you like Amil Larrieux then you'll like this CD. My favorite tracks are Romantic, Things Don't Exist and Back to You.
I love it!!!!.......2006-03-17
I now have a new favorite singer! The cd was in excellent condition and arrived fairly quickly.
Goapele - Even Closer by BVP.......2006-03-16
This cd is joyous and beautiful - sad and impassioned. Goapele sings about life and love - the good and the bad. Her music is emotional and real. It is also transfixing and almost hypnotic. She is an artist with substance and definitely someone who belongs at the forefront of the music industry. If you are tired of all of the prostitute type singers with their degrading purposeless music then this is the artist for you.

A blast from the past.......2007-03-28
After trying several times previously to purchase this CD, only to find it sold out, I am glad I finally have it. I remember this well from the 70s (as a vinyl LP), before we used the term "fusion" very extensively to describe music that is a mixture of rock and jazz.
This CD is a good blend of musical forms--primarily rock and jazz, good vocals, with a little R&B thrown in, and then stirred. Enjoy.
funky all the time.......2007-01-03
Brian Auger let himself in this one to take his funk etitude to the top. he bland it with some latin rock and bluse influenses and the result is somthing thet you will listen to over and over agein. buy it now.

Not what I thought.......2007-05-13
I thought I was getting a CD with equal songs by Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. Unfortunately, it was mostly Loretta Lynn, which is fine, but not what I thought.
Just a Closer Walk with Thee.......2006-03-11
I love this CD and have told many people about it. Patsy and Loretta are wonderful and the songs are great.
By the way the service was great all so.
Just a Closer Walk with Thee.......2005-08-17
I really like this CD, as it has a lot of the old Christian songs on it.
Sweet songs.......2002-12-12
I love to hear these two sing oldies...it is interesting to hear them sing gospel..so refreshing.
It just lifts your spirit.......1999-11-18
When I was growing up, we listened to Country. Now as an adult, and life is getting me down, I sit and listen to this Cd and I feel loved and happy with the world. The contentment I get into after listening to this Cd reaches deep in-side of me and lifts my spirit closer to God, who takes away all the bad feelings I just had.
