SUSAN HAYWARD BELTS IT OUT.......2005-03-31

This CD is a rare treat for Susan Hayward fans - a chance to hear her do her own singing in the film "I'll Cry Tomorrow" based on the story of Lillian Roth, who battled alcoholism in her life. The sound quality is EXCELLENT and the CD includes extensive notes, and even includes unused tracks, such as the vocal efforts of studio vocalist Sandy Ellis, who was originally going to dub for Hayward. Many people are not aware that the real Lillian Roth was disapointed that her own voice tracks were not used for the film. But, Hayward surprised everyone with her surprisingly goodvocal range. The background music is exceptionally fineas well, and is all included here. This CD is a must-have for Susan Hayward fans - and lovers of fine film score music as well.

Something To Really Count On.......2006-07-31

There are just very, very few duets that have realy been definitive, especially for movies. For a true legend like Whitney Hoiston, she has been one of those who has scored big when it comes to duets with Mariah Carey, her husband Bobby Brown, and Jermaine Jackson to name a few. Her collaboration with Cece Winans is no acception. Count On Me, one of the signature tracks from Waiting To Exhale, is a simple, and soulful ballad that just remains a classic. I definitely love this duet because the feeling of the song sticks from the heart, not from other things like image. I just hope Whitney comes back again soon, so she can make more great duets like this one.

I received my CD in a timely manner. The case was cracked on one side, but I guess that's what makes it used too. However, the CD itself is in excellent condition. I'd purchase again from Wherehouse.

Simply put, this CD is amazing. The New Jersey Mass Choir has one of the best sounds and arrangements in all of Gospel Music. This CD comes highly recommended but is EXTREMELY hard to find.

GOD'S SPIRIT FLOWS THROUGH THIS MUSIC.......2000-07-04

After listening to this Choir over and over again, I had to take time out to write. There are really not enough words to describe the Spirit filled blessing you feel from "Hold Up The Light" Each song touches your spirit and it gets embedded within your soul. It makes you stop and praise and it touches your soul to weep tears of joy and tears for the Love of God. If you are feeling down and out, let this Tape, CD, touch and renew you, if you are thankful, take this CD, Tape and rejoice, if you are lost, hear the message and you shall be found, if you are seeking to turn your life around let the words flow and show you the way, that leads you to the precious and loving touch of God.
