4 out of 5 stars High Quality Kids' Stuff - FINALLY.......2003-07-11

I'm a leader on a puppet team and have trouble finding music to use for performances that doesn't sound too cheezy. Most kids music is recorded by choirs of young teen girls, and they never quite convince you that they are kids. This was recorded by an actual children's choir & some of the kids actually have solos! It also has familiar adult worship leaders on many of the solos, which makes it great for older kids who are transitioning into adult music.

This is their favorite CD. I've got to get the other volume for them. They dance to it and even pretend to have their own band. They are ages 3-6.

I have a few other children's worship albums, but I think this one is by far the best. First (and most importantly), my kids (almost 2 and 4) both love it. It's so upbeat and clappable and singable, even for the little one (who mostly just joins in with the "Na-na's" they have on a couple of songs, though she does clap and dance to the rest). My older daughter loves to learn the lyrics and practically shouts out the upbeat songs. But even when the slower songs come on and my "upbeat" husband asks her if she wants to fast forward, she emphatically says no.

And what makes this CD stand out from the other ones I have is that my husband and I both really enjoy listening to it ourselves. It's not that we don't appreciate the all-kiddie versions, but if it's enjoyable to our adult ears we will certainly play it more often for our kids. My husband even wanted to put it in his car to take with him to work. I like, though, that this is not simply all adults -- you can hear the kids singing through in every song. And just like the church where this was recorded (Northpoint in Georgia, where we went to a conference once), the CD worships the Lord without putting quality on the backburner. I highly recommend it, for both parents and children!

My 5 year old special needs child LOVES this album. Music is very soothing, comforting & reassuring for him. This album has gotten him to SING - something that no other album has done.

I can't say enough about this album & am about to purchase another copy (one for the house & one for the car)!

My boys, age 2 and 5 love this upbeat CD. We keep it in the van, and roadtrips are a lot more bearable when they're singing along to the music. Our adult friends enjoy this CD as well.

      I surprised my 8 year old son with this CD by placing it in his lunchbox. He couldn't wait to get home & learn some new songs. He has all the songs on the first CD memorized. He is already asking when #3 will come out!

      Hi, I am 17 years old and I bought this CD for myself when I saw it!:) This music is wonderful, these aren't your typical kids songs (which I love!) but it's still good. I was familiar with most of the songs from the youth group at my church, but this CD presents them in a wonderful way! But, I'm not going to suggest it for everybody my age and older, because it is still definately kids music! I've always enjoyed little kids' stuff (since I left the age of little kid myself). Perhaps that is God's way of preparing me for my calling to be an elementary teacher. But anyways, even if you don't love this music, your kids will!

      This CD is great. My wife bought it at a Hearts at Home conference. Our children refuse to listen to any of there other tapes while traveling in the car. They absolutely love the music and are quickly learning the lyrics. We find ourselves singing along. This is not just a tape for children. Adults can enjoy this music to.

      This is an excellent CD for young and old to move into a worshipful time with Father God. Little ones dance and express their energy, and the old find new energy to express their Love of Him.

      This CD is my children's favorite CD for driving to school (they are 3 and 5 1/2). We tried other children's praise CDs but they didn't like them as much. This one is one that even adults will enjoy - it is not so cutesy. I find myself playing it even when they aren't in the car and enjoying it! I love the fact that it includes contemporary praise songs that the kids enjoy too.

      This is an excellent CD. The level of production is on a completely different plane than most kids' worship I've heard. Most of the songs were familiar to me, but the arrangements on this CD brought a freshness and renewed my determination to lead worship in a more compelling way for kids. I am a worship leader and used several of these arrangements in a camp setting for about 300 4-6 graders this summer with great success. There are no magic formulas for successful worship, but these songs were excellent tools for us to engage kids and lead them to God's feet. I have also used some of these arrangments as examples for our worship team that leads adult worship. I highly recommend it for kids and families. My husband and I both choose to play it, when our 3 year old isn't requesting it so she can sing along herself! If you enjoy high quality worship band sounds surrounding your time of worship, you should definitely give this a try.

        This is the most played Christian cd I own..even though it is geared for kids, parents will love it as well. If you're thinking about getting this cd for your kids, just do it, you won't be disappointed. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best one on the market. My four-year-old son listens, sings along and dances to it everyday, and falls asleep to it every night. The worship music is very upbeat and fun along with some slower songs that are sweet and heartfelt. I highly recommend this cd!!

        I love this CD as much as my children love it. Songs are upbeat, an excellent alternative music for Children's. This CD is one of the rare CD which songs are ALL good, not just the first few songs. Don Moen produced this, no wonder!
