Album Description

Produced by Kurt Carr and her son Jamie, Tramaine's stellar musical back up on this album includes Jamie, Maurice Rogers and Jonathan DuBose. Recorded live at Reid Temple, this album has literally been five years in the making. Sidelined by physical concerns and spritual snares, Hawkins persevered to give us her most intimate and passtionate performance yet.

When I first heard that Kurt Carr was going to produce Tramaine Hawkins on a live project, I could not wait for the project to be released!! Needless to say, this was one of the best artist-producer collaborations ever!!! The two songs that are wearing me out are 'I Never Lost My Praise' and 'Don't Count Me Out.' Jamie Hawkins is an excellent producer as well, proving he can hold his own mos def!!! Tramaine's voice is still just as anointed as it was in the 70's. She is one of a few artists that shows what can happen when you really know how to take care of your instrument!! This project is definitely a musical journey!!! Don't burn it, buy it! You WILL NOT be disappointed!!!!!

I can't say enough about this CD. It offers praise, worship, testimony, and thought for Christian living. Tramaine has lost nothing in her voice or in her praise. In my opinion, not since Mahalia Jackson has there been such a fantastic singer. Tramaine Hawkins's voice is so beautiful that at times it's been known to move me to tears. I thank God for her.

I believe that Taramine Hawkins is Excellent maybe this might affect my judgement,but from the first time i heard this album a couple of years ago,it has been quite difficult to find such powerful music that matches that of Legendary Taramine Hawkins

I have owned this CD 3 times! Once it was mis-placed & the other CD broke. If something happends to the 3rd, I will purchase again & again. What a powerful album. She has to be one of the best female singers around. I am looking forward to her new CD coming out in March. Thank the Lord for Tramaine & her talent.

I really love this project of Tramaine's because I am an avid "live" music performance fan! This is by far the best Tramaine project since her tenure with the Love Alive projects.

From the opening song to the final cut this project ingulfs the listener in an experience with Jesus and His Holy Spirit that is so profound that you will run to this CD whenever you need a worship experience.

Tramaine has a way of pulling you into the inner courts of praise and worship to experience that aspect of God that will both convict and deliver the listner! Her voice is both powerful and tranquil. To sum it up this project is by far one of the best live Gospel performances I've ever heard!

I really started liking Tramaine Hawkins when she came out with that song "Justified by Faith," but really became a fan when I saw her at Shirley Caesar's conference this past July. This CD features two of my all time favorite Tramaine Hawkins songs "Changed" and "The Potters House" and plus it is live. I did not know she sung "Going Over Yonder" and it is like they say nobody can sing it like the orginal artist. She is truly anointed and has some powerful vocals.

This CD is a blessing! I have had it now for years and it ministers to me in new ways each time I hear it. Tramaine Hawkins' voice is wonderful and the messages in these songs are so encouraging. Over the years each of the songs has been my favorite for a period of time, depending on what I'm going through. If you know someone who is going through a difficult situation then this is a wonderful gift to give.

      I guess I was a bit disapppointed in this CD because I expected a bit more energy in the gospels. I have no complaint about the vocals, it's more the arrangements that didn't grab me. I expected the Oakland Gaspel Choir to deliver a more rounding performance, however it may suit others better.
