excellent CD.......2007-07-03

I only wish there were more songs from Les Mis. I've seen 6 different Les Mis casts, and Stig Rossen (London cast, June 1997) was the best Jean Valjean I've seen by far. I bought this CD solely based on the fact that I was blown away by his voice when I saw him in Les Mis. You'll love the other songs on this CD just because his voice is so good.
P.S. Don't know why the Amazon description says "by Kalle Magnusson", don't be confused...Stig Rossen sings all of the songs.

This CD is a Gem ...it is a must for everyone who loves beautiful music.The renditions come to life again.."Love Changes Everything" , Beautiful..."This is the moment"....Powerful. This young man has the perfect range and "coloratura" in his voice, his diction is incredible, his own "persona" is in each and every song..."Why God" from miss saigon makes you re-live the drama in this song through Stig,s voice...."all i ask from you" Magical!!!.......to summarize if you are a Michael Ball fan (i am!!) this is as a wonderful venture as all his recordings...Get it ..you wont regret it!!..Stig has a space in my kingdom of outstanding performers..cant wait for his next recording!!!

Doesn't get any better then this!.......2006-07-06

I took a chance when I bought this CD, and am so glad I did. His voice is so beautiful; so smooth, expressive, powerful, with a tremendous range. The songs were obviously carefully chosen, and he interprets each one so well that they sound brand new. This really is a beautiful album, if you're a fan of Michael Crawford or Michael Ball, add Stig to your list.

Every song on this album is terrific, but his rendition of Gesthemene is really outstanding, better than most others I've heard.

This CD has Broadway songs sung by a great singer. I especially like his rendition of STARS from LES MISERABLES. This song is not on many CD's besides the cast albums of Les Miserables. He is a very good singer. While you may like the original versions better, you won't be sorry if you buy this CD.

The power and range of Anthony Warlow's voice is incredable. The song selections were nice as well, and incouraged me to find more of his CD's.

Magnificent Voice Marred By Inferior Sound Quality.......2006-03-12

Polydor collections often contain great selections, but the sound quality is frequently less than stellar; this is this case here. A huge fan of Warlow, I am disappointed with the inconsistent sound quality of this disc. "Hiss" is audible between songs and sometimes during. Sound levels are soft on some pieces and then increase noticably on following numbers. With all the technology available to temper problems, it's a shame that Polydor did not give this magnificent voice the star treatment it deserves.

Wow This CD Got Me Hooked! I just had to buy every one of his CDs after this. Experience here, the Best songs of the BEST SINGER! Australia's #1 singer, Anthony Warlow is known internationally for his role as Enjolras in Les Miserables from the 'Complete Symphonic Recording" and for recording the Complete Work of Wildhorn's "Jekyll and Hyde" in the lead roles. He has released a number of solo recordings as well as cast recordings.
Anthony Warlow is, by far, my very favourite singer in the world! His voice just doesn't compare to anyone else. Classically trained, his voice has been described as a baritone with a high top. From his deep baritone, to the smooth crooning notes of a big band hit, to the modern day "pops and squeals" of rock/pop music, to the effortless soaring pure endless notes that are Anthony Warlow's trademark--he's got it all.

This is the first (and only) "best of" recording that Anthony has released. It is an ideal introduction to the man, his work and his other recordings

Of all the four part harmonious Gospel singers, the Poet Voices are the best at giving you your money's worth. Ten songs are on the album, five are excellent and the other five are quite acceptable. The writer, Phil Cross captures the essence of Gospel music in his lyrics. This album is one of several must-haves from the group.

i got some songs online and i really loved it more than the demo tapes young used to play for me back at my sax lessons. young was my sax teacher and now im getting into his band. these guys rock!!!

Well i finally manged to see this band when i filmed them earlier in the week.. THEY rock, kinda like Dave, Kinda like Live...very well written songs and the cd is defiantly worth getting. they are in my top 5 list of fav bands now.....

I've been following Mile Post Nine for a while now, and these guys just keep getting better and better! This cd just proves that! The raw sound of Marc's voice and the awesome lyrics make this cd worth every penny! Kudos to the band on their latest effort! Can't wait to hear the newest cd, which will be out soon!

Draggin' Ass Jones is a modestly successful rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio who is trying to revive the classic rock sound of the sixties and seventies. With the release of their debut CD This Changes Everything, DAJ is just getting their footing in the ever-changing world of popular music. DAJ has a stripped-down garage band sound, the music is raw and their "no frills" approach on This suggests a heavy influence from the Doors and early era Rolling Stones.

DAJ is led by the full-voiced vocals of singer Freddy Morris, the staccato acoustic rhythm guitar of Mike Melchers, the raunchy lead guitar of Doug Nagel, the lilting beats of Mike Goldschmidt on drums, and the often bass playing, sometimes keyboard hammering, lines of Troy Bausch. The subject matter of the songs on the disc range from love lost to religious ambiguity to societal angst. Their classic rock sensibilities shine through on tracks titled Stained Glass and White Horses while the ballad Easier sheds light on the more contemporary side of the fledgling band.
