A previous independent release and two tours with Caedmon's Call have gained Bebo Norman a notable fan base. His first major-label release, Ten Thousand Days blends the reflection of a journal entry, the images of a poet, and the experiences of one who embraces all that comes his way. This upbeat folk album spotlights Norman's journey as he grapples with the important issues of life in order to live more faithfully. Throughout the project, Bebo's vocal and lyrical style carries an element of quietness that comes from his innermost self. The music has a spacious feel, but is not lacking in richness. Every tone, rhythm, and harmony has been tastefully chosen to create a purposeful sound. Its unobtrusive nature gently beckons the listener, making it a good fit in any setting. --Israel ButtonCustomer Reviews:

Beautiful, simple, accessible.......2003-03-16
Friends of mine who are fond of CCM often criticize Bebo for what they regard as the simplicity of his lyrics; compared to those of Jennifer Knapp or a Caedmon's Call, the words to a Bebo song are straightforward. But on clever and powerful songs like the sublime "The Hammer Holds", Bebo crafts a simple, tuneful, and deeply resonant meditation on God's sovereignty through the story of a nail that will, in due course, pierce the side of Christ. I saw many tears being wiped away when Bebo sang that live in Los Angeles a year ago; I have wiped away a few of my own while listening to that particular track.
As I went through my recent and painful divorce, this was the CD that brought me the most reassurance. In particular, the lovely "Where the Angels Sleep" and the humble "In Your Hands" brought me tremendous comfort. Perhaps these are not the most sophisticated songs I could have been listening to, but in a time of great spiritual and emotional pain we tend to seek out the familiar, the comforting, and the beautiful. This CD has become all three of these for me, and I will continue to treasure it.
I'm hooked..........2003-03-01
